Default Issues with FFR

So I finally checked the game site after months of not being able to play and to my surprise the site was back up and running...

But I when I attempted to play the game again everything was running smoothly until the song started and my Arrow keys weren't responding to the game. Pretty much my arrow keys won't work with the game so I "miss" myself out not being able to hit the arrow. So I come to the forums to ask for help. Is this my computer or is this a problem with the game itself? I see others are able to play fine so if you could answer me I would really like to play again soon.

Do you use the original arrow key setup? If it's not working, it might be your keyboard. I just tried that setup and ran across no problems. Try altering your current key setup to something similar like WASD YGHJ etc. See if that works.

Sounds like a plan I'll try that out thanks for your input.

So now my arrow keys actually work when I play the game. But now when I try to hit the arrows on the screen at the appropriate times I get boo'd, miss then lose. I have no idea what is going on.

Your keys may be set to the wrong thing.

Click the settings button near the top right and try assigning the key to left down up and right. Click on one and specify the corresponding key for that direction. Make sure you do it for all four directions.

Edit: I think you also must have the speed mod in settings set to a number divisible by .05 and hit the set speed button.

You have to press the "Set Speed" button next to the box where you enter in your speedmod. Also worth mentioning is that your speedmod must end in either a 0 or a 5.

Check the FAQ before posting next time there's loads of wonderful information in there =)
