Default Internet Explorer

So, this happened. Internet Explorer re-branded itself once again, appealing to Anime. Thoughts?

Disappointing really, but this still doesn't make internet explorer any better of a browser in comparison. Sure it's gotten better, but keeps falling behind from chrome and firefox.

I don't really see this being the face of internet explorer. I'm sure it will die soon or never take off in the US.

not saying IE is a good browser, just saying it's still big in asia that's why stuff like this keeps happening lol

It's barely even that big with the elderly anymore in the US. I swapped my moms internet explorer with chrome and changed the chrome icon on the desktop to the IE icon and she never noticed since I imported here bookmarks.

Edit: Not implying my mom is elderly. Those were unrelated.

Probably should've went with a MLP fancharacter or something since it at least would've given them some controversy to work with.
Or Sonic.
IE and Sonic. That would be quite ironic.

every japanese/korean game companies put most of their website operations on IE

ex) if you try to launch games through google chrome on nexon korea or japan, it'll bug out on you

kinda weird but in korea/japan IE works blazingly fast (just as fast as chrome/firefox, prob due to internet speed? idk) so i guess it makes sense
