So it wasn't so much the content of the dialogue but the context/tone that led you to read him town? I know you said you were trying to make him angry at the start of the next phase, but were you being genuine when you said that some of his posts sounded fake w/r/t the zenith kill? Was that fake tone there not enough for you to change your mind on him?

i don't remember saying i was trying to make him angry at the start of the next phase. possible misremembrance? my entire read on choof is based on context. it's a tiny snippet of townie purity you can only get at certain poins of the game.

I've only played one other game with fiction and it was the one with our v/v argument where I was lynched first, so no, I've never had the opportunity to. However, even if fiction is a pathological liar as you claim, I don't think that excuses suspicious plays and interactions. People read me as scum when I appear town because there's a precedence of me appearing town when I'm a wolf (see blind and dap's early reads for examples); if there's a precedence of fiction appearing as scum when he's town, then there's still reason to believe that he's exactly that, just like how I could be town.

you are trying to create a polarity or boolean qualifiers for a thing that is neither specifically polarized or boolean.

I disagree. I've been accused of asking too many questions (by fojar I believe), and people such as tokzic, fiction, charu, and yourself have responded to my criticisms and points against them. Are those not sente moves, and can't sente moves exist within gote moves such as we're doing now?

well both sente and gote are constructs to help define a thing, so yes they could probably exist at the same time. i'm trying to describe a quality that i don't necesasrily have specific wording for which is complacency or passiveness or willingness to follow the flow of the tide or whatever. you aren't trying to direct things while you still seem to have a dm modicum of conviction that is longstanding. how do you continue to hold onto the same reads relentlessly without becoming frustrated at being ignored?

Fair enough, but I think not pursuing those interactions when they could potentially strengthen or bolster your cases is a waste of potential.

I understand where you're coming from in your case against me, and I've been so convinced about you being scum that I haven't bothered to necessarily argue back against you, but a lot of your basis relies on PoE (ie you don't think it's fojar or jrodd or charu, so then who else could it be?) or claims about what a wolf would or wouldn't do in your perspective. You've only played two games with me, and one of them was my first TWG ever (not counting the half-hearted tgb ones) so your meta on me is lacking. Look at sunfan and charu, who have been in almost every game I've played: I am always bureaucratic because that's my nature, and I have a tendency to be neutral to a fault regardless of my alignment (though I'm trying to change that). Just because I don't conform to your view of what a townie plays like doesn't mean that I'm a wolf. That's why I wanted you to look at interactions.

i have three things i always think are wolfy
-doubling-down on yourn opinion when confrontedf
-not engaging in confrontation when you have a strong opinion
-complacently adding onto a railroad townie-lynch

i don't think any one is condemning but i think you have down the first two consistenty.
