Default problem with uploading simfiles.... help

I tried to upload a stepfile for Lunatic Calm - Leave you Far Behind earlier and it didnt give a download link on the page. I tried uploading it again and it gave me the error..
"Error: Invalid audio type. Please upload ZIP only."
it is a zip file, and i dont know what that has to do with the audio (which is an mp3)

Anyone who knows what is going on please tell me because i really want to get this file out to the public.

It's probably offsync, so I'm not going to play it.

It is NOT offsync! I made sure of that. Meaning, I played the file over and over again with the assist tick on to make sure. I'm not enough of an idiot to make offsync songs.

And just FYI: All movies suck in Stepmania - don't bother making movies for it. Just shove some BG.

Now, should I keep practicing making stepfiles and try to improve if it's true that this is bad? Or should I just give up making stepfiles all together?

Do it if you feel that it's fun to make stepfiles. You'll get better over time, as long as you keep making them.
