Event helper applications

Hello everyone, as I'm sure you've noticed we've had a lot of events going on. Well trying to juggle all the planning and hosting of these events can get pretty exhausting and hard to manage along with irl responsibilities. So I'm looking for a few good community members that would be a good fit to help run official competitions. This means helping with planning and running them and even bouncing new event ideas off us.

To be considered:

*You have to be a member who is active in the community.
*You need to have been on the site for at least a year so that I know you have the general idea of how the events work around here. If your account is younger you may be considered if you are a very active member and host some of your own events.
*You need to be generally well behaved around the site. I know we all have our slip ups, so I'm not going to hold minor things against you. But if you're someone that is constantly causing issues, you most likely will not be considered.
*You need to be able to follow direction and be okay with being asked to do things that may not necessarily be the way you'd do them.
*You need to be able to get along with people and work as a team, even if it's someone you don't like all that much.


If you'd like to apply send me a pm stating:

1. How long you've been on FFR.
2. If you've hosted any user events before.
3. Tell me what types of events you think you'd be best at and what skills do you possess that will be useful. (e.g. I'm really good at placing people)
4. How active you are.
5. What times you're generally online and how long you're usually on for.
6. What makes you a good fit for the position.
7. Why you want the position.
8. Give me a new event idea or a good way to improve upon an old event.
9. Anything else you'd like to include that you think will be relevant in choosing you.

I will be accepting applications for a week, then I will review them and send out PMs to the people who were chosen to help out.

Oh hey, I fit all of these descriptions quite well....

1. I am active.

2. I have been on here for over 6 years. (Technically over 9 years)

3. My last ban about 3-4 months ago because I called myself the 'n' word and got two weeks for it. Thanks nois-or-e. Also, my last ban before that was a 3-day ban from Velocity. There was no reason stated in the ban. Power abuse much? My last real ban was probably back in 2007-2008 when someone hacked into my account and posted a pic of some girls ass with shit coming out from her asshole onto sprite's profile. I got a month ban from that and ANOTHER month ban for ban evading. <-- that was the real ban. Other that that, I am generally well behaved.

4. Following direction is something I have no problems with. Look at what I had to do for Tier Points. That right there is proof that I am willingly to make adjustable changes whenever need. I am quite good at it too.

5. I can get along with anyone on this site. Even the haters. I also enjoy working in teams. That is something I can do.

Unfortunately, I just do not have the time anymore so I hope the people you select will be people who does their job the right way and actually have time.

I want to make note that we have received applications from a lot of great people. I think all of you that have applied could help out the team in many different ways. Most likely we're only going to be taking on 3 people from this to start. Being that this is new for all of us I think that's a good starting point and then who knows maybe from there it will grow even bigger.
