Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
I find it ironic that we're limited to 3 songs in this batch when what we need is as many "easy" files as possible, since they're usually much scarcer in normal batches.
which happily enough, is untrue You can still use them, but with great discretion. Also worth noting is that [124] and [134] hand patterns are easier to hit for one-handed players compared to [123] or [234] (thanks aperson for pointing this out). I'd like to see someone submit Cosmovibe's (sg's) lightfoot song. That song was meant to demonstrate hands in an easy file. And the song's cool too. |

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
well that depends on the key settings. I use "bnm," on which [123] and [234] are much easier to hit with one hand

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
Hey, it counts. I started music when I was three.
Never did, never will. You have to keep yourself updated. The results will be posted after judgment is complete. |

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
Hands are not forbidden but we'll be a lot more strict in its usage than regular batches.

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
I wasn't expecting this at all... I'm lucky to have stumbled upon this thread on time!
Sent my file, but this begs the question: why aren't you guys using the front page more for events like this one? It will surely go unnoticed. If you want to attract new members, or get 3 submissions per user, why aren't you actually making sure that people are aware of it? I mean, it's a special batch, not an easter egg batch! :P Didn't you make this an easy songs batch because you were short on them in the first place? Might try, but where can we find it? It might feel weird when you use it for the first time, and 5 days might be a bit short to learn how to use it properly and squeeze out a nice easy chart (which are hard to make D: ), but Youtube has good tutorials. I highly suggest you use this tool over any other. You can use your mouse, have keyboard shortcuts, see the waveform of the song, etc. I'll never go back to SM, and I bet you won't either. |

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
I offered the song to Kayla, who'll likely step it.
Also, I agree about the lack of front page posts...there haven't been any for a while now. Quote:
If you can visualize with waveforms well, then go for it. |
