Getting Around Website Blocks At School!
hey TD_punk here again.
ive been screwing around on my computer and i started to wonder if there was any way to play FFR at school. i started to check around and i got an idea. i took a jump drive and saved a ton of widgets in a basic web page. what you do is make a code like this in notepad: <html> <head> <h1>(text here)</h1> </head> <body> (paste the widget(s) in here) </body> </html> its fairly simple. then you save it on your jump drive. DONT CLICK SAVE CLICK SAVE AS! once ur in ur jump drive then you save it something like i did "FFR Widget test #1" THE MOST IMPORTANT PART IS NOT TO SAVE IT AS .txt! SAVE IT AS .html it will make the world of difference. well im off to bed, but im going to test it out at school tomorrow. Punk |

1. Pretty sure everybody knows basic HTML
2. You save as '.htm' not '.html' unless both work for some reason 3. Widgets are pieces of **** any way...only good for promoting the site I just tell my teacher I'm enhancing my learning experience through the magic of studenteducation.net Also why the header? just do Code:
<html><body> <widget><br> <widget><br> <widget><br> ect </body></html> |

They unblocked FFR at my school for some odd reason, so this isn't much of a problem! Hoorah!!

widgets are not pieces of ****. we've explained this many times. and the fact that many thickheaded users do not listen to the explanations of the admins is irritating.

Re: Getting Around Website Blocks At School!
My school doesn't block websites; it uses BlueCoat Webfilter or something, and the school has no control.
And apparently it's a pretty bad filter, since I can get into FFR just fine even though other sites are blocked for "streaming media/MP3s." Simfile DB anyone? |

Re: Getting Around Website Blocks At School!
When do you guys even have time at school to play FFR? And more importantly, why can't you guys go 7-8 hours without playing?
