Re: hey:
Here's my suggestion:
DON'T DO IT unless you know where you're going. But most importantly, DON'T DO IT. |

Re: hey:
Yeah. Call the police.
Or tell him your neighborhood is full of mountain lions. I ran away from home one time, went into the woods, camped out until night - BAM! Mountain lion. I'm not even kidding. Scary as hell.

Re: hey:
I ran away from home ONCE. I ran into paintballers in the woods. They were cool and all and they didn't shoot me. They wanted to see how good my aim was. After that, they shot because I ****ed up one of their guns.

Re: hey:
Tell their parents.
My best friend in middle school wanted to do the same thing. Her parents found out and got extremely pissed at me for not telling them. I haven't talked to her since the beginning of eigth grade. |

Re: hey:
If you're running away, that's dumb. If you're running to somewhere, go for it.

Re: hey:
Tell him to don't do it. It'll surely create more consequences!

Re: hey:
I think nothing of this.
It's their life, if they wanna mess it up. If the situation is at home with parents, don't run if they find you, you're beat like a read headed stepchile. It will only make things worse with them. Thought in the case of parents, if it's abusive contact the right people to get that taken care of. If the reason is because of school, people picking on people, or cause of a girl, that's no reason at all, it would be just plain idiotic for them to do that.

Re: hey:
After about five minutes he will realize how good he had it.

Re: hey:
For the record, I never realized it was a bad idea until I was almost mauled to death by a mountain lion.

Re: hey:
Running away is perhaps one of the stupidest things you can ever do. If you parents do not know where you are and find out you're not with or at any of your friend's house, they'll call the police. And that is as bad as it can get. Nobody knows if you have been kidnapped or what. Once you show up and say you ran away from home (or something close to that), you could either get into some serious trouble or could be forgiven.

He shouldn't do it unless he has the means to supplement himself.
