But since I obviously forgot some data in my calculations, that doesn't hold and that's why I backed off. I do think Iggy's strategy is best now. |

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
If he's a lying wolf and the metroids attack him and don't die everyone will immediately know he's not Rundas.
So he's probably not a wolf. He could be a metroid. I think. It's 3AM and I haven't slept in two days so yeah |

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
Well, I guess the metroids would know. The death/attack messages don't say whether it was the 'troids or the wolves that did the attacking or whether rundas was the cause of death.

AIM me directly (DarkManticoreX2) and I'll hold your hand. PM me if I'm not online (I do sleep/go places), and I'll answer first chance i get. Seriously, It won't make you look like a poor player to ask. It's a complicated game I expect questions. I worry about players who DON'T ask me them.

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
Hmmm...
Four attacks. Three of them are from Metroids, obviously... If I'm right, PED suits don't protect agaisnt wolfings, only agaisnt Metroids. I think the wolves attacked either Gun or Lito. Iggy and emerald got attacked by Metroids, but they didn't die because they had PED suits. But then a Metroid attacked Gun or Lito (don't know which one) and the atttacked player didn't have a PED suit, so he died. And blues, I think we should wait a bit before claiming to A2P. There may be a counterclaim. |

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
Metroids target 2 members, rundas uses ice gun on one and wolves target one. There weren't 3 metroid attacks there were 2

I repeat: METROIDS, please contact me through AIM (or PM, if I'm not on AIM). I am not going to use your identities to use you as a freeze target. That, I promise.

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
There would be no reason to. I'm pretty sure a metroid win and a human win are not mutually exclusive.

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
Actually, it seems to me that a deal could be made with the metroids as long as we don't lynch the phazon spawner before they capture his phazon. They would be able to turn wolf slaves back into humans for us. It would just be very risky, for both of our sides. I don't think it could be pulled off.

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
If the blue seer and the metroids could form an alliance, the seer could search out the spawner for the metroids and other wolves without fear of being corrupted. In addition, the metroids could help out the humans by 1. Uncorrupting the corrupted and 2. neutralizing the phazon spawner.
There are issues with this. If the metroids come out to a2p, he has them under his thumb. They have no way of attacking him. That's why I think they should come out to the blue seer, because that way they have some collateral if good team turns on them, but not so much collateral that they can control team good. The problem with this is metroids finding the blue seer or vice versa without either party announcing themselves to the wolves since both the seer and the metroids are relatively attractive wolf targets. I don't know exactly how to pull that off. Thoughts? Are me and syhto bat**** insane or are we on to something? |

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
It will only work if the seer and the metroids are not revealed to the entire thread, but rather only people we know are green or blue (except rundas). That would mean the seer has pretty much all authority when it comes to the relationship. The seer has to use their ability to its fullest, marking down who is who and who can be trusted, and who is a wolf as always. This time, communicating it with the metroids, and not with the entire thread. The metroids can go after wolves during the night, while the wolves are making their rounds.
Rundas could also use his ice gun to freeze wolf abilities, instead of killing metroids. It's a mutual relationship, keeping metroids safe from lynching (unless the phazon spawner is killed before they capture him) and like giggles said releasing humans from wolf control. Everyone would just have to be very careful, but if this alliance is inacted it could result in a definite wolf loss.
