Any vegetarians/vegans on FFR?
I've been a vegetarian for a little more than 10 months and it's pretty easy to be honest. I'm planning on going vegan after high school.
P.S. Discussion is welcome, let's just not let this thread turn into a total ****storm lol. |

I think any style of eating is fine as long as you're getting all the proper nutrients for healthy function. If you choose to go vegan, don't be retarded and skip out on what you need for protein, calcium, vitamin D, etc.

Food is food, i eat anything. I never understood how someone could go from eating meat and pork to just...grass.

Re: Any vegetarians/vegans on FFR?
Vegetarian seems reasonable to me, but vegan is just crazy.. No milk? No cheese? no eggs?
Crazy.

Re: Any vegetarians/vegans on FFR?
Yeah vegan seems a little to extreme, but vegetarian is okay.

Re: Any vegetarians/vegans on FFR?
veganism is a borderline extreme diet that requires a lot of dedication and research and is very often inconvenient/costly. i don't recommend jumping right into it but very gradually working yourself off dairy etc
i've been a vegetarian (discounting fish/shrimp) with very few slipups for about a year, not nearly as challenging as what my vegan friends seem to go through.

Re: Any vegetarians/vegans on FFR?
There's several reasons, but the main one is just to cut back animal cruelty in slaughterhouses. Vegetarianism can also prevents heart disease and many other conditions, and I honestly just felt healthier and more energetic after I became a vegetarian. Vegetarianism is also better for the environment and can reduce ones carbon footprint.
There's plenty of info online about how factory farm animals are raised and slaughtered, and if you may want to check out the movie Earthlings if you've got a strong stomach. Yeah I imagine it's pretty difficult for a while, but I've already started cutting back on milk and cheese, and I barely ever eat eggs. Plus there's a lot of vegan alternatives and vegan recipes online. |

Re: Any vegetarians/vegans on FFR?
Liar, in your FFR Meetup video at the end you clearly show what you guys had for lunch, and boy oh boy was there meat in there. Unless of course you have changed into a vegan since then.
