fa nerf on wiz broke the class

even with 70k dps and fa soloing is a third as fast as a worse geared dh

now i have to drop dps and stack vit/res to be able to live more than 1 hit of anything in a3 while still killing things more slowly than monks/barbs

meanwhile dh's elemental shot still does 700k a shot on large bosses like azmo/belial

cba to play tbh

So does the authenticator not help in preventing hacking?

Well it helps against client-side hacking, but it's useless against server-side hacking. Guess what, server-side hacking is what's happening right now therefore it's currently useless. It's more a marketing attempt due to account protection fear than a real use atm.

Hey guys, the passwords aren't case sensitive if you didn't know. Blizzard are experts at security.

Anyway level 50 Monk almost at Diablo in Nightmare mode. For a game that took 8 years I'm kinda disappointed but it's still pretty good. I heard Blizzard often pulls staff off of projects to work on WoW to meet deadlines, and it wouldn't surprise me if this is what happened to Diablo III. Anyway I can't wait to get to Hell, and Inferno eventually. Mad lootz. A complaint I do have is vampiric groups against NPCs like Tyrel. Every chance they get they just beat the hell out of Tyrel and get back to full health. Nearly impossible to beat. I usually just avoid them when I can't dismiss any NPCs.

Don't try too hard. They're probably going to wipe everything in-game and start back fresh. At least I hope they do..

I'm not trying to pick on you but these two posts are the only claims I've seen in this thread that I honestly can't believe without some kind of evidence. I'm pretty much 100% sure they're not going to wipe everything in game and start fresh, and I'm also pretty sure that the hacking done was not client side. Perhaps a keylogger got distributed on a site a lot of D3 fans went on, or account info was stockpiled from WoW accounts. I doubt the hacking was server side though. Please give proof for both of these claims cause they seem pretty crazy.

Also why do you hope they reboot the whole game? I sure as hell don't.

lol after the force armor nerf I've been using this build too (while it was bound to get nerfed, i still wish they gave us some warning, rip having 6k health no resists and facetanking hell diablo lol)
Need more attack speed and crit to make it work perfectly like you have though. (still only really at the start of act 2 inferno, so my gear is not amazing)

since im less geared im using venom hydra instead of the explosion bs. way lower dps but more ticks to get the CD reduction, its working okay... you should add me and carry me through inferno IMO! hi19hi19#1232

anyway this game has basically consumed my life recently, it's REALLY fun

I love the mobs that are infinitely invulnerable. Maybe they were bugged, but that was incredibly annoying.

Invulnerable minions? They're the best. 1 mob you can hurt and 3 that you can't cc and can't hurt and just KILL YOU.

Starting some serious Inferno tonight.

Not sure how a DH is supposed to solo it, maybe I'm doing something wrong.
