Surrealiscapes? Learn how to use a falloff map in 3dstudio max and you've already gotten 3 times more in the 'omgreflective bling bling' field than bryce can ever have. Screw integrating the two, bryce just sucks.

bryce is ok.
it can do some nice stuff, and its easy to use. but yea, 3D studio max is pretty much the elite, top of the line gfx program that is capable of pretty much everything...unless you get into like professional graphic design. And don't forget photoshop it can do wonders.

Unless you get into professional graphic design? I got news for you, it's even used there.
Max is the king of the 3d world (Maya is more used for its biped animation, and integration from real-life to computer which is why it is used in movie production. Softimage XSI is uhh... too expensive for most COMPANIES to buy) Photoshop is hands down the best photomanipulation tool Illustrator is the best vector tool. All the programs you need to be a professional graphic designer.

Vectors, if you don't know what they are you don't need the program.

And replace Bryce with Vue D'Esprit and Worldbuilder, use with Lightwave and 3dsmax, and you have....alot of really expensive stuff. And probably some good art.
