Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 6/7/13]
FPS works perfectly.
Rates work perfectly except the rate isn't saved in settings after you exit to another song (bit annoying) |

As for FPS, good to hear! I was really worried that the timing windows would feel wrong, shifted, or otherwise different.

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 6/7/13]
On a side note... apparently on the mac side there is some delay (not related to offset) when striking keys. I need to leave but i'll update you more about this later.
(Any other mac users out there having the same issue?)

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 6/7/13]
Just have to say that this latest update is absolutely amazing! FPS boosts, RATES?!? Oh man there are so many songs on rates I want to try when I'm less tired and more warmed up.
As far as the FPS feature goes, after testing it on and off for several songs, it is definitely smoother and seems to have no effect on my timing. I'll probably be playing with it more soon, but so far it seems excellent! As far as rates go, they seem to be working fine as well. Although it seems like whenever I use them I always pull a random good or two at least throughout any song (and I'm not quite sure what actually causes it). Perhaps it is awkward frame placements of patterns when the rate is changed, or slight game lag or something. Anyway, I hope that rates above 1x will record score sometime in the near future. I know I could rack up tons of GTS playing lots of easier files on crazy rates.

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 6/7/13]
so if i understand, 60fps = no recorded score? is there plans to make it record eventually?
i've just played at 60fps HOLY FUCK!!!! this is probably the single biggest thing since av-miss fix. wow... i think i'll need to up my speedmod again whats the max fps btw? and decimal offsets... THANK YOU SO MUCH! and haven't noticed timing issues w/ mac
