charu because I agree with what ind said in that it seems like he believes his thought on sunfan, and town!sunfan isn't exactly an easy target. I don't think scum!charu wouldn't push town!sunfan early/QUOTE] charu's gone full hooligan and pushed me for the entirety of d0 before literally off of my first post

Re: TWG CLXXII - TWGood End!
greg do you think you've done anything that is townread worthy this game so far
how are you going to go about avoiding a repeat of last game if you're town?

I think the line about his reason for voting yeti was /probably/ not made up, I would've appreciated him leaving it at the time I think haku's looking alright so far outside of that, I will admit that I'm not super ok with inD thus far. I did like our like exchange with regards to Manti, but that was kinda small last turbo, even though I was a wolf, I felt like we had some real mindmelds and I'm not getting them here. I don't think its too unfair. I don't have this read anymore but I dug the way that Yeti transitioned into giving a read on not w/w on two people, idr who. I think it was probably "to early" but more importantly "too easy" I have my eye on Manti. I don't dislike anything you've done but I am not in love with you yet. anything more than that I would just be making up stuff to say

Re: TWG CLXXII - TWGood End!
ohh, I thought you were asking what I thought was townie LOL
uhhhh no? and I think it was a freak occurrence. If I am in a similar situation, then I will cross that bridge when I come to it. TBH I think I know what I did wrong, I just need to give people what they want a little bit better. and I let Xiz get away with a vomit-inducing push on me; not really gonna stand for that kind of thing this time. other than that not really. its more of "what did I learn by getting lynched" than anything else

Re: TWG CLXXII - TWGood End!
yeah, I thought about that at the time and earlier, and funnily enough I think the answer is yes just cuz we were mostly talking about PR stuff

I think haku's point is valid that you mindmelding as a wolf means pretty much nothing here because the whole gamestate is different from your perspective if you're town. when did those "mindmelds" come in the turbo, and why do you expect them at this early point in the game where very little solving has actually taken place? what about where he pushed you about the mechs thing and you said you felt damned either way? because I think that would be a wolfier thing in and of itself to put someone in a catch-22 where either way they look scummy, but you didn't mention that the lines about me/manti feel like padding basically don't like this post because of above reasons and the fact that you didn't answer my two questions at all consider my vote on you real (I think it's on you)

Re: TWG CLXXII - TWGood End!
also, I think "not mindmelding with someone like I did last game" is a pretty dumb reason to not be ok with them
I don't always mindmeld with certain people when we're both town and I don't expect to. when it happens I tend to townread them but I don't not townread them just for the lack of it unless you're trying to claim that you/ind mindmeld quite frequently as town, and this early in the game?

Re: TWG CLXXII - TWGood End!
the mindmelds were all on d0, so yeah I would expect to see something that I would look at and say "YEAH" from inD based on that.
it didn't feel like a push is the thing; tbh I'm not really sure what to make of that from inD. I was def more  at charu at the time, i'll probably have a stronger opinion on it after a reread.

Re: TWG CLXXII - TWGood End!
yeah, I said "no?"
I don't really think I've done anything that people can look at and say "this is townie" but I haven't really been keeping track

Re: TWG CLXXII - TWGood End!
in capitalism we mindmelded a bit as well iirc, that would've been all early game as well
so yeah I mean, you and I aren't exactly the same is all. I get that its honestly a dangerous thing to look for sometimes, but at the same time, I don't particularly care about the danger. I read Xiz for years based on looking for that stuff, I was right almost every time. Def way over 95% success rate when you factor in DM games.

I'm back to computer so it's easier to type and make longer posts than on my phone when I should be working on lab stuff. Champs is like, my best town game ever so don't look at that one for what I'll most likely play as this game. As town I know I have a tendency to drop off the face of the planet (someone once referred to this as 'clocking out') as the game goes on; I stay more engaged as wolf, I believe. D1 is usually pretty good for me overall. Town me doesn't tend to care and will post almost anything, wolf me is much more conservative and I feel like that does tend to come across in post tone. >Caveat to this is that I'm still trying to get some of the atmosphere of this site since it's easier to read it from the thread during an ongoing game than reading a finished game. I don't super change my game style when moving to other sites, but I also don't have a ton of off-site experience and what I know is acceptable on my home site is way more conservative than any other site I've been on, so that's part of the atmosphere I'm trying to feel. was capitalism also regarding pr stuff or was it actual reads? I still don't think it's reasonable to expect mindmelds when... up to this point neither you nor ind had posted anything resembling an actual read? aside from ind thinking you were dragging on mechs. can you reconcile that?
