Re: Diablo 3
Well, it is depicted to be primarily a tanking class. In the descriptions, at least.

Re: Diablo 3
Well of course, but being unable to play solo properly is quite the disadvantage compared to every other class in the game.
Maybe it's just my shitty gear, but I just can't do any real damage to mobs above hard and normal. |

Re: Diablo 3
Well I paid the price for playing while the lags were going on.
Rest in RIP crusader, died even though I was playing on normal because i was standing still lagging out for so long ;__; Welp, on to WD, got boosted to 22 before the lags hit really hard. |

I hit 50 on my monk doing master difficulty today. My skills have been more or less locked in since level 20, although I switched evasion mantra to healing because the active is really good combined with the resonating chant passive. I would love to experiment with inner sanctuary, but I can't imagine removing dashing strike or seven-sided strike, I need a mantra up and an m1, and that leaves serenity which I'm hesitant to remove for any reason, or wave of light which is a fair chunk of my aoe damage. azmodan is still easy diablo is still easy act V is mostly comprised of side events which is awesome Found this spinning fire trap Act V event that I was pretty sure I was going to die to, but managed to kill the champion after kiting for fifteen minutes or so. Those fire traps hit like trains and don't give any indication as to which way they're gonna spew beforehand, like arcane enchanted stuff does. Easily harder than any boss fight in this game post-expansion, but still easier than Izual and Belial at launch. holy shit wtf this grand maester: first of the order guy, I spent nearly half an hour fighting him because he has an incredibly potent heal. Finally locked him into a corner in a hallway and chiseled his ass down. By comparison, the scoundrel event is a cakewalk. I haven't unlocked the enchantress event yet, but I hope it's more middle-of-the-road than those two. and the new craftsperson is awesome, I can make all my armor look goofy as hell and finally, MrChuckles#1326

The Enchantress event, like every other thing about her, is godawful.

i don't have expansion yet (waiting to get it with all my friends at the same time in the summer) so some of them would probably still be useful for me plus who doesnt want their witch doctor offhand transmog to be a thing of the deep

I fucking love some of these abilities on the legendaries. My favorites are what I have on my bracers and amulet. 1.1 million dps with 100% crit chance from sharpshooter passive |

Re: Diablo 3
I'm loving groupsader, but I can barely sustain my HP while playing solo (though I suspect that might be an itemization issue on my part). Also, I can't relate to the comments I've been seeing about resource problems. Maybe some of the high spenders could be tweaked, but it doesn't feel like it's as big of a problem as people are making it out to be.

Re: Diablo 3
Everyone has legendary weapons but me. My dps is pretty sufficient, but I'd prefer a 2 hander + quiver for bigger numbers. Because bigger numbers are better even if they are 3 times slower.

Re: Diablo 3
So I fiddled around with diamond gems and my DH is now at 10m toughness... (with perfectionist) that seems a little too much for softcore

Re: Diablo 3
Probably, as ranged I would prioritize damage. I can already outheal almost everything and if for some reason I'm dieing I hit shadow power with gloom and my hp shoots to full. Even on torment 3 we weren't having much survivability issues. The mobs just had way too much hp and it took forever. Random elites had 500 million hp.

Re: Diablo 3
Yes, I think ultimately the difficulty limit for me will be how much patience I have rather than how much damage my duder can take. Extra health is probably my least favorite modifier. It just wastes time instead of adding anything interesting.
