Offset Discussion Thread
There has been a noticeable inconsistency with recent file releases in regards to offset, and this thread is meant to contain the discussion into one thread.
Please mention the global offsets you used for some pre-FFRMas 2016 releases, what offsets you used for the FFRMas 2016 releases, and afterwards up to now. The more data we can gather, the better we can adjust the recent releases to be consistent. |

Re: Offset Discussion Thread
The SotW thread has a few posts about this.
I had to use a global offset of 2 for the first time to match the music with the arrows. I was completely fine with a global offset of 0 with the pre-FFRMas 2016 releases. Unrelated, but FrainBreeze also has sections with framers that are too close of each others. I'm talking about the jump sections. Edit: I just played everything again and I have the same results as rushyrulz now. @ pre: 1 post: -1 most recent release: -3 Last edited by Hakulyte; 04-2-2017 at 04:05 PM.. |

Post: 0 (Granted, I played basically none of the FFRmas charts) Most recent releases: -2 FrainBreeze framers are killer but nothing much can be done but potentially give it a diff boost.

Re: Offset Discussion Thread
So from what it looks like, files after FFRMas have a +2 offset bias. In the case of the most recent release, it looks like it has a +4 offset bias.

Re: Offset Discussion Thread
Can everyone here specify the files that they played? I'm getting different results. There may be variation across files.
Specifically this is what I got for offset data. I'm wondering what specific results were across different songs. Pre-FFRMas DJ Vasil: -1 Into a Dawn: 0 Seedy Try: -1 Seiran's Mad Hammer: -1 Time Bomb: -1 Time To Sleep: -1 FFRMas A Dichroic Glass Snafu: 0 Air Trip #SF: 0 Chaotic White: 0 cold (Kurorak's Bootleg): 0 External Excavation: 0 G4M3 0V3R: 0 Major League Can Can: 0 Make The Fire Burn: 0 Pulse: 0 Try This: 0 Violet Rose: 0 where is my balls: 0 Post-FFRMas Agartha: -1 Crystalline White: 0 Dragonsbane: 0 Exothermic: -1 FrainBreeze: -2 i wanna fuck the moon: -1 Koi no Sakisaki Revolution desu yo: -2 My Catchy Lil Bassline: 0 Our Journey and Epilogue: 1 Scrambled Eggman: 0 Shades of Green: 0 sniffing stardust on the dancefloor: 0 Yellow Smile: 0

Re: Offset Discussion Thread
My issues date back to Call me it 100 Tortures. It, Ant IDM, and Violet Rose specifically I know all require me to go from my standard G.Offset of 1 to -1. Going to -1 has solved the issues for the majority of files I've played that are off.

Re: Offset Discussion Thread
Offsets below 1 are far more likely to be attributed to accuracy issues than actual file offset.
