TWG on other forums
Yeah, like the the topic says. Has anyone ever run across or started TWG on other forums? I have.
The first TWG on the Natural-Selection forums just ended with a human victory. If anyone wants to read the first game or postgame, there they are. I know a few of you already know about this particular one running (LD, Chardish, Tassle). Yeah, anyone else done this? My first one was very cool, a few little mistakes made along the way (hey I've never hosted one before), but yeah. Went pretty well. |

Yep. I brought it from there, to here. They brought it from DDR freak.
BMS games are slow. They were on Game 11 when I brought it here. Now they're on Game 15. |

While browsing the horror that is the bungie.net forums, I came across this:
http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.a...tRepeater1-p=3 Makes FFR jTWG players look like astrophysicists... The host actually forgot about the game after the first night and never came back |

RE: TWG on other forums
A struggling little Invisionfree forum...
http://s4.invisionfree.com/Operation_WOLF/index.php? Anybody remember our forgotten little friend Neonatrias who tried to sign up for TWG VIII? That's Krysten, who is also the founder of the site. I'm a mod/admin of sorts, too, so at least you know somebody that runs it. Sure, Invision Power Board isn't the greatest setup, but for TWG, you can handle it, right? Neo/Krysten hasn't actually played a TWG yet, so I'll be around to back him up, and play with you guys as well. Give it a shot.

Hey, this is actually my first post here at FFR. I've been a browser on the TWGs for awhile, but I never participated. Anyway, I'm the Administrator on my InvisionFree forum, http://s8.invisionfree.com/Moka_Tenga, and I was able to get fifteen of my active members to play (I have about 75 registered members). I'll be really happy if any of you guys register on my site; right now we're in Day 6 of our first TWG, and the humans are winning.

Damn, four wolves, eleven humans, and just a seer and guardian? I was surprised to see that the humans were winning until I read some of the threads. The guardian was able to save TWO people (not counting the screwup on the first day, of course)?! Man, those wolves suck. It's cool how you don't tell who was guarded, as that would be destruction for all wolves.
EDIT: Holy crap, what a horrible game! No day fills two pages because there is absolutely NO discussion of votes. Everyone just posts whom they want to lynch and that's it. Why would anyone want to play this game that rolls in the not-fun pit? --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

Yeah, I need to tweak some gameplay methods--there's a weird mentality in my members.

That has got to be one of the lamest games I've ever seen. I've been keeping up with the latest jTWG. Lame. You gotta do something about them just voting. Perhaps they feel that they can only vote in a post or something. I don't know. Either way, lame.

Well, can you help me try to shift their mentality in some way? Any suggestions on rule changes? I mean, I guess part of the problem is because we know each other personally, and can see each other in person...so there's not as much forum interaction. I think in my next TWG I'm going to make them post a reason for their vote or something.

Yeah, you should make them post a reason for voting. Also, it can't be some stupid reason like "peer pressure" or something. Also, if you guys can see each other in person, maybe a live twg might be better. I'll find the rules later, but it may be a little more active than online.
