Complicated Question
Can I use Auto Hotkey to make "d,r,f,g" AND "h,u,j,k" like 2 sets of arrow keys instead of playing with "drfg" and the arrow keys?

Re: Complicated Question
no. Seems like a form of double setup.

Re: Complicated Question
Yes, unless you get really good scores with that setup, then it's a no.

Re: Complicated Question
I thought the rule was that you can only use one set of four inputs? Spread doesn't use 8 keys.

Re: Complicated Question
Well, since some of you say it's possible, then tell me how to do it because the "mapping keys" thread doesn't say anything about it.

Re: Complicated Question
I just told you, the thread doesn't explain how to do what I am asking. All it explains is how to use "dfrg" and the arrow keys. I want "dfrg" and "hjuk".

Re: Complicated Question
Then I guess that's a "no" to your original question, right?

Re: Complicated Question
And the same people just said it couldn't if that didn't work. Good luck figuring something else out.

Re: Complicated Question
Actually, it does work?
You just have to map more than 1 key to the same key. I've done it before... It's just freakin' hard to play like that, though. Takes a while to get used to it. And that's if your brain doesn't shut down in the process. |
