Re: FFR Scores ~2012 Remix~
At this point I'd like to see how you're doing Club rofl, you're probably positioning your hands really poorly or something. You definitely can do better on that file but you just haven't figured out the problem yet
By the way, Club is awkward, I will agree, but you're most likely hitting it in a way that prevents you from transitioning better |

Re: FFR Scores ~2012 Remix~
The main problem for me on Club is boos (specifically the transition from 4 to [23]) and then 2 to [12] and the other arrows during the 1 jacks.
You might be hitting straight down, which is what I used to do and it screwed me over when arrows in the other column on the side came - I angle my finger just a little bit to the side and it helps a good amount when it's not just a straight jack in one column. |

Great Fish Hell! Try it again another time and maybe it'll be the one.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. For some reason, I can't do it consistently though. Some days I feel like I am in total control while jacking, while others I feel like my fingers are just slipping off the keys. I guess I just need to practice keeping my finger angled.

Can't anchor jack?
Solution: HIT THEM ALL AS JUMPS

Exactly what I do for AIM Anthem. I don't know why I can do Club but not AIM.

Re: FFR Scores ~2012 Remix~
I find club easier on nonmirror because my left hand is better at responding to awkward anchor patterns than my right. I find it helpful to focus on the 4th and 8th arrows as you play throughout the file instead of viewing it as a 11111 jack with a 234234 roll (?). This avoids splitting jumps for me at least.

Re: FFR Scores ~2012 Remix~
I know this is only a 9, but oh this feels good to get this blue note file out of the way. As you can see from the restart count, I was really determined to AAA it after bf'ing earlier today. xD

Re: FFR Scores ~2012 Remix~
I have it AAA'd, not too hard once you get the hang of it.
Then again I have every lvl 1-7 legacy file done (without muting/offset) xD |

Re: FFR Scores ~2012 Remix~
I'm flattered, but come on hi19, you're much better than me, you should be able to get this one. :P My problem with this chart, was that I'd always rush the 1234 or 4321 rolls in the stream, so make sure you don't that; make your keytaps very concise and try to keep track of the 16th beats in your head. The one handed trills in the stream is another easy thing to rush, so try to avoid that as well.
Thanks! ^_^ Chart's very index friendly, too bad I can't play index at all. xD If I could I would have gotten this one a lot sooner. :P Last edited by reuben_tate; 02-12-2012 at 10:21 PM.. |
