Using your DDR pad with FFR
so guys i got this awesome idea but i need some help putting into motion. i've got a usb adapter for my playstation controller but in order to use it with FFR i need to make the joystick buttons register as up, down, left, and right on the keyboard as FFR doesn't have a joystick feature (someday... ) so if any of you out there know how to remap the buttons on my controller let me know. maybe someone out there has already done it?...

also on that note guys, i got my adapter at radio shack. it's nice having one professionally made and not held together with duct tape!

A dance mat for FFR?
Are you insane? Do you even know how difficult FFR actually is? You'll be gasping for air when you've done hellbeat (that is, if you survive hellbeat) |

because DRR involves moving you feet...make that your entire legs...therefore there are much less arrows even on the hardest difficulty FRR, on the other hand, all you gotta do is move your fingers...which you can move much faster than your legs..therefore to balence things out, there are more arrowns 'n stuff..PLUS, that would take out the whole meanig of using the computer why would you wanna?

I think it would be a great challenge to do ddr pads on ffr. People like me who can never get enough ddr, I think we will enjoy the challenge of beating songs like hellbeat. I don't know about others out there, but hellbeat on a pad sounds fun to me.

No dance pads. When you hold down a botton, it says it is pressed like 2498623563472934 times in a row. Making you fail.
So, flash ITSELF wold have to tweaked a FUCKLOAD to make it not do that.

yeah...the only song you could do with a dance pad would be the tortorial...mabey if you're good the mario one...unless you have 4 legs....and super human reflexes...that'd be cool

not to mention... if you make a ddr pad's buttons register as up/down/left/right... it see's those as axises... axiss.... axeses? whatever... so when you do an up/down jump, it sees the axis as centered.... so up/down and left/right jumps wouldn't work.... at least thats true with hardpads... i dunno about official softpads.. im talking about home made hardpads
