uhhh the bar is a safety measure so that you don't fall backwards and crack your head open

technically, according to official rules for both pump and DDR you are automatically disqualified if you touch the bar during play

ITG is the only game that a score is officially legit if you use the bar. Now, I'm not an anti-bar person because I use it a lot but technically anyone complaining about bar use in DDR and PIU have a legitimate beef.

I may not play those kinds of dancing gaems, but how is using the bar cheating? The general idea of the bar is so that you can proceed to stomp the **** out of the machine (thus soothing your inner rage) without tripping and falling on your ass (thus fueling your inner rage and disrespect for people around you).

Um, this kid tried to mess me up while playing ITG because he was jealous of me. So I ****ed him up. Don't let anybody push you around because of something you're doing or wearing, that's ridiculous. I use the bar too, you have to if you want to play ITG well.

Many players at the arcades in my area use the bar, so there shouldn't be anything wrong with it. But actually there was about to be a fight over the new Guitar Hero arcade machine at Universal Islands of Adventure, and it became loud pretty fast. Love those moments when I'm not involved.

It's not as bad as when I tried to explain to someone that people who are good at the game don't completely memorize the notes. (Or else all tournaments would require the Stealth mod lol) Of course, it was just like explaining to a wall.
