Re: The new Indiana Jones movie
Does anyone think the movie needed some/more booby traps? That would have made it so much more epic.

I watched the other three after seeing this, and Crystal Skull cannot compare to those, they are much better.

Re: The new Indiana Jones movie
I thought it was pretty cool.
It kinda confused me though.. Aliens? a UFO in the late 1970s-80s? That's kinda awkward. |

It was in the 50's.

Re: The new Indiana Jones movie
It seemed top lack everything that made it indiana joans. The effects seemed horrible. I bet this was made 10 years ago and they just released it.

Yes, that's surely it. What particular thing did it lack, pray tell?

Nothing like the originals. By itself the plot was good and engrossing, I liked it, but he's too old for it to be believable. I didn't like seeing him survive impossible things without a scratch. I might watch it again on t.v. eventually, the skull was cool.

Re: The new Indiana Jones movie
I didn't find it as bad as most have said it was. However it still wasn't that great of a movie in my opinion. Then again I've never been a big Indiana Jones fan.

Re: The new Indiana Jones movie
I thought it was alright. I like Indiana Jones so I was excited about watching it. But I really did hate the idea about aliens. I was like 'WTF?!!!' when I saw the aliens. Also, I kept getting confused at some parts in the movie. The first three movies were much easier for me to follow (and I liked them more than this one).

Re: The new Indiana Jones movie
I wanted to like it, but I was really bored throughout the whole movie. I thought the acting was bad, and I don't like Shia LaBeouf, but I thought he was the best thing in the movie.
The female villain was laughable -- almost a parody of the action/adventure genre. The alien thing was very E.T. too. |

Re: The new Indiana Jones movie
I liked it so much more than I expected to!
Some bits I thought were just a little too fake, like when Mutt was swinging on the vines like Tarzan and the part with the ants, but overall I really enjoyed it. Did anyone notice that both Mutt and Indy BOTH go by a dog's name? =] |

Re: The new Indiana Jones movie
I guess I'll be the first person to say I effing hated it.
Before I get ripped apart by all those who loved it and will say things like, "OMG U DIDNT WATHC TEH FRIST ONES DID U", I did watch the first three, and they were pretty good. This abridged script does a pretty good job describing my feelings about it. I honestly tried to take it seriously, but right about the time I looked up from my popcorn to see Shia LeBeouf swinging from vines with a crap-ton of monkeys, I just couldn't do it anymore.
