That makes sense, though, if you're a writer. Logic and creativity are both necessary to write something good, in my opinion.

I don't think the brain could be described like that so easily from just human concepts.

I initially saw it going clockwise, so by that test I am right-brained. After looking at how it can be seen both ways, I did. It started going counter-clockwise one second and my brain switched it the next.

But I agree with Izzy; no simple test can describe every individual's brain and how they function.

Same for me. At first I saw it going clockwise, but now I can see it turning both ways.

It's really easy.
Yeah, this advice helped a lot.

Before, I had trouble making shifts in the figure's direction, but by focusing on the feet of the figure, it's become real easy for me to make shifts.

Thanks.

Also, I remember seeing a thread very similar to this in the not too distant past.

I can make it change directions at will, does that mean anything? >.> Plus I'm left handed but I saw it turning clockwise at first.

I was able to switch the way the picture spun through concentration, and then eventually it jsut stopped spinning and i saw the left leg always in froun sawtin back and foward in a 180 degree turn. Does that mean I'm Whole Brained?

Same here, DaeGa, I can switch it at my own discretion. Strange.

Even more ironically, sumzup made a post earlier about how both logic and creativity are needed for a good writer. No bragging, but my writing is really good. So I guess your abilities will reveal the side of the brain you depend more on.

its all a matter of whether you view the leg pointed at the ground as the girl's right leg, or if you visualize the leg that is raised as her right leg. Its all a matter of interpretation of a two-dimensional drawing.

PS right brained

Well, to "change the direction" of any of the images, it helps a LOT if you view the image actually labeled clockwise, then scroll just enough to see the head of the girl in the image labeled counter-clockwise. It will look like the counter-clockwise girl is moving clockwise if you watch their ponytails. If you scroll so you can no longer see the clockwise girl, counter-clockwise will start moving counter-clockwise again as you watch her feet more.

At this point, I'm able to go to any image and "change the direction".

This is not a brain dominance test. It has been posted before. Which way you see the image spin is a test of a perceptual bias at best and has nothing to do with what hemisphere in your brain is dominant.

Everyone uses both hemispheres almost all the time and this has little to no influence over the way you think, but regardless >~98% of people are left brained. The most reliable test of brain dominance is to look at your dominant hand. If you're right handed, there's about a 99% chance you're left hemisphere dominant. If you're left handed it isn't as reliable though, a lot of left handers are left hemisphere dominant as well (>50%).

Regardless of your dominance, it's important to know this doesn't tell you much about yourself. You can most definitely demonstrate high ability in 'typically' (I say typically since both sides are always involved, unless you decide to sever your corpus callosum) right brained activities if you're left brained.

Right-brained! It took me a really long time to see it going the other way, but I fianlly managed. I guess it takes a lot of effort to use my left brain... =]
