Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
What's your thoughts up until here Rolf? Been somewhat quiet, sitting on free real estate, and 3 of the 5 posts you've made (the other 2 being RP), have all been shifty in terms of directing attention.

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
So, obvious/basic gimmicks don't actually prevent an acquisitioner. Eg, appending words, or changing letters simply, is easily feignable by the acqui so if anything it helps the acqui by giving them a target they can easily be an imposter for.
I actually think in the last anon game with an acqui, the acqui on day 1 used an obvious gimmick to seem non-acqui esque or similar? Been a while but that's how I remember it. Anyways gonna go over the thread now with those initial thoughts out there |

Made note of it, but not really polling my vote. Just looking for thoughts specifically on where you stand on Chief, on Molly, and on Julian. Also, what are your thoughts on inactives as we close in on eod? |

I'm slowly leaning Julian back to null based on more recent interactions.
Just feeling like I had the wrong idea. |

In regards to Maple, that was surrounding discussion about acquisitioner and gimmicks to avoid being the target so this doesn't shift away or towards anything. In regards to Del, it's as simple as looking at somebody pointing out two inactives and voting for one of them. What reasoning is there to do one or the other or is it just flipping a coin there. And then, would a wolf come right out and ask why they aren't being voted for there? Wouldn't it'd be easier to sit back and let another person get potentially wagoned while they might continue to be inactive? I used that little bit there as basis for slight town read, or at least enough to not worry about this phase if voting for inactives. In the vein of thinking, would you call somebody townreading a player and not looking at them shifting attention away from them? In regards to Apollo, I already explained my questioning to Punchy so just read that I guess. |

None of us, not a single one of us, would have guessed this.

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
First read notes:
- Dora has been posting a lot but not actually doing much - the above makes me like chief because #286 was what i was thinking kinda - the takoyaki is sus, dropped in then poof'd when it got attention - phil is *mostly* fine (unique tone, probs won't get acquired), #257 is ehhhh but other thoughts are town trying to get info I think - funny how flurry is top poster but nothing stood out to me - #243, having a "hot take" that's actually pointless is dumb, but otherwise agent is fine ig - Julian is mostly replying to people; reactive gameplay is usually more wolfy |

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
While mentioning Apollo though, I will say I don't really understand the flak on them for that intial post about Agent being the acquisitioner. I had it taken as a joke because there's no way anyone could have that read when acquisitioner wasn't able to take over any other accounts yet so there's no difference between playstyles to look at here. Unless people throwing shade on them for that is solely because they think it's coming from a newer player that rolled acquisitioner and has no idea how they should go about playing it yet?
