Well, those were two separate suggestions, not things I was advocating should both be true, but I'd suggest just dividing up say, 90% of the total income from people buying moves. So if you bought an entire clear yourself, you would come out behind, but the odd bit of purchased move by somebody who really wanted to invest to make sure their otherwise 'everybody going nuts at random" run was the winning run would slowly increase the pot.
I think it would be interesting because the people have both more of a vested interest in actually progressing, and not deliberately sabotaging their run AND a vested in interest in, if their run wins, having their run be as long as possible. Would just be neat to see how that changed the behaviour of the room. |
