Re: Change log
Hey - while someone is working on the forums:
When you search something within the forums using the Advanced Search option, this: Code:
SHOW TABLE STATUS FROM ffr_vb2 LIKE 'vb_usertextfield' |

Re: Change log
That has been an error for years. Would be nice to see it gone.

Re: Change log
Still cant seem to log into chat even with all that info. I can't find the option for inbound and outbound in my firewall settings and turning off the firewall temporarily also does nothing.

Re: Change log
Welp, looks like Im never getting into profile chat.
Random garbage I have to do to get into a chat? Dumb IMO. Should of made it simpler. At least its being worked on I guess.

Re: Change log
Windows 7:
*EDIT* Might want to configure your menu first. Top right of the control panel: change "View by:" from "Category" to "Small Icons". If you're blind, choose "Large Icons". If you use "Large Icons", you shouldn't play FFR or handle a gun. start -> control panel -> Windows Firewall. On the left, next to bottom on the top selections; Advanced Settings. Click on "Inbound Rules" in the left menu, then at the top: Action -> New Rule. Use the radio button to activate "Port", then click "next". For anyone else that may have reached some stage, and they see TCP/UDP but no "Inbound/Outbound", you're looking for TCP/UDP. If you're confused, GOOGLE IT. So, click on TCP, then do the following: For fast opening; copy this: 8080, 8082 then paste it in the "Specific Local Ports" box. Click Next. Allow the connection; click next. Check all boxes, click next. Give the policy a name, then hit finish. Congrats. -------ROUTER LEVEL------- If it has come to this; consult your manual. If you're using DD-WRT or Tomato, I hope you're smart enough to know. If not, send me a PM.

Re: Change log
TCP/UDP are both Inbound/Outbound protocols. Set it up for both.

So i was messing around with every possible on/off combination of TCP/UDP and so far its still not working. Slso have no idea what you mean by router level.

Re: Change log
It's not broken. It's your firewall settings that are making it not work. I had the same problem. I tweaked my trend micro firewall, and now I don't have a problem.

Re: Change log
It didn't work on my laptop when I was using my school's wifi. I changed nothing, went home, and it worked. I'm guessing the main issue here is the router.
