Question // Rock Band Drums on FFR
I went ahead and tried this without really asking around first.
I know installing programs or hardware to cheat the game is NOT allowed just to make it clear before I get trolled. Is installing PS3 controllers or accessories allowed? I've used XPadder before with my PS3 controller to play the game. It makes it a little harder for me, yet I can lay on the couch and play through my TV. To the main question. Rock Band Drums. I have recently been able to install them and play FFR with them. They in no way allow me to play better. I actually have to play songs 5-6 levels lower. Are they allowed to be used or do I have to stick to keyboard? All answers welcome, just please don't be a troll |

As long as you don't Double setup I think the rule is that you can play on drums and stuff.

Re: Question // Rock Band Drums on FFR
Is double setup even possible on FFR?
@topic: Yes, I think it's allowed, since I don't even consider double setup playing with a joypad. |

Re: Question // Rock Band Drums on FFR
Yes it's actually really easy to do it. I could set myself up to do it right now.

Re: Question // Rock Band Drums on FFR
To explain the rule in more detail: There should be exactly one possible input for each of the four arrow targets. Whether these inputs are keys on a keyboard, Rock Band drums, or whatever else you've got lying around, it doesn't matter.
Actually, RB drums have been tried before, and while being able to double-stick jacks sounds like a lot of fun, most of the harder charts are oriented around streams and bursts. |
