It's good to me, but not to you.

I personally love Bleach. It has an amazing plot that's always interesting. Almost as good as One Piece.

Anyway, that's kind of an unfair question. Not a lot of anime gets over 100 episodes. It's a pretty huge milestone for any television show anywhere in the world. I've only seen four shows that have done it: One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, and Inuyasha. I hated the latter half so I won't even consider them shows anymore.

Like I said, length really isn't an issue. I love the fact that the show is incredibly long. It gives more of the sense of adventure. While re-watching it, I am watching it from a perspective of "Moogy", AKA, someone who probably thinks he won't like the show and thus picks out all the things that are uncommon and annoying.

- There are a lot of repeated jokes throughout the series. It's usually the same type of joke carried out in a different way. For example, Luffy is an idiot. You learn that in the first episode. Throughout the series, he does stupid things and his crewmembers tell him he's a moron for them.

- There's a lot of drawn-out scenes. Sometimes in the later arcs, stuff happens that seems like it's only there to fill time, even within non-filler episodes. It happens. All shows do it. It usually catches up with itself pretty quickly. Pretty much the way they decided to air the manga, since they're the same thing.

Oh, that reminds me. Read the manga if the show isn't going to be appealing to you. You've read Negima, right? Or did Kefit just tell you to. Anyway, Negima is at 160 chapters. One Piece is at 440. It's not too big of a difference... yeah it is. WELL ANYWAY you skip all of the things that sometimes slow the show down. Flashbacks to emphasize scenes, dramatic pauses, etc. But you miss all the voice acting, the music, the sound effects. Which, personally, I think is perfect for the series.

I mean, if you know you can't stand shounen series (which is weird because you watched Naruto when it was unpopular and it was pretty long too) then don't bother. It's a shounen series through and through, just with a plot and action, not just drawn out episodes for no reason.

Hmm. Actually, I think I will read some Negima. Thanks for reminding me of that.

Manga is no problem because I read quite quickly. ~5 minutes per chapter, usually.

I don't actually have a problem with One Piece beyond the fact that it's thirty trillion years long. I'm sure it's quite a good show, but there's no way I could watch something that drawn out.

PS: I watched Naruto because I was a dumbass and I immediately deleted all of it and killed myself after finishing the first three seasons. Haven't watched any since.

Haha.

That's cool Moogy. You can read the Manga, besides, I thought the One Piece anime was good, but I was totally blown away when I saw the Manga. It is a little bit better than the anime. The manga itself is relatively fast paced and the battles typically take one chapter per pairing. There are rarely any wasted panels like in Naruto where they use one entire chapter dedicated to illustarting the power of one attack.

But don't get me wrong, just like how the manga has many things the anime doesn't, the anime also has many things the manga doesn't.

Dang man. You're catching up to me.

I'm on 115 on my re-re-re-rewatch.

Anyway, don't say I didn't warn you. The show is addictingly amazing. It's best that you stop for the day when an "arc" ends.

Arabasta doesn't start until 91/92.

Then it ends in the 130s or something rofl

Good luck on that one in one day. It was the one that managed to thwart me. I got 30 episodes in one day (starting before Drum) and ended mid-Arabasta.

I didn't sleep well at all that night.
