Someone has brought to my attention something that I hadn't realized, and I feel it's only fair to share here.

btw Ive talked to a couple people today about the impolite pack and it seems like there's an impression it was rushed out a bit too fast
like I heard some people complaining about their files not being released with graphics
and saying that you told them youd take care of it
the fact that it was released before the initial submission date
and then like some people were complaining some of the charts weren't up to the standard they expected
personally I think it might be a good idea to take the pack down for now and then once the current chart is finished go fix those things up a bit
and like add those graphics and playtest and revise some of the charts you sent in

I am mostly concerned since like for one thing wh1teh decided to rerelease all his submissions for the pack

I wouldn't want to see this pack make people think you are dropping your quality standards

hmm you're right, i should have put graphics for the couple of files that don't have them, i will make a patch for that. The quality of charts imo is fine, it feeling rushed that's a little subjective. I am defending myself in these regards. Each chart filled the criteria of the packs submissions guidelines and I personally feel it's a fun pack. I am however sorry for not keeping everyone updated in the submissions thread as to how many charts it had, or a last minute submit now or lose out on the chance. I should have known better.

I haven't actually run a community driven pack before, i felt the dying effect a lot of packs seem to have and wanted to complete the pack and share it as it had no activity in the thread but was still fun imo. That's not an excuse on my behalf though, I should have engaged the community better. As to how the pack is now other than the patch I'll make for graphics, I think it's to late to pull the pack and reopen submissions.
Overall it's up to the people playing to decide if they like the pack or not. I hope if I decide to run another community driven pack people will trust I learned better for next time.

in short i failed a pack, from a lot of peoples perspective

I had been too assumptious in the current state of this pack and as of now pulled the release. You guys have trust in me to do better than what this pack is now. I don't know what I can do to fix it, I'm not going to change files other than my own for you, but there was a greater expectation from me I wasn't aware of. Especially when I heard that Whiteh wanted to rerelease his files in a different pack I feel that I betrayed him, and you all as a community.

I will be honest with you guys, I really enjoyed the charts in this pack how they turned out and was very excited to put what was here out on the table. I will do better next time, but I want you all to be happy with where your charts end up in the end, please excuse this poorly directed pack and my incompetence as a pack leader.

You could say that, but it doesn't need to be fleshed out really. Don't worry for this pack, I have another project I'm working on, it's for the best we put this pack down.

Wh1teh re-released all his files not just from this pack, also from boi, timdam and xeo. So to be fair ain't fault of the pack quality, i think you're overthinking it.
