I have severe stamina issues - I quit out of a lot of files just because I get so damn tired so quickly. TOML is easy initially (I can AAA the first jumpstream consistently), but by the time a minute passes, I've often quit out from pain and exhaustion. It's all a matter of luck as to whether I can even hit the majority of notes coming at me after that point. If I get lucky and do, I always exceed 85 million. Otherwise, it's usually about 80-81 million, or possibly even 79.5 or so. Yesssss could pass stuff like MSWGO because he had so much endurance. I'm mostly all accuracy (which is true, since many of my MA scores beat the average spread players), but I usually have to grind my way through files like TOML just to pass it. If I'm doing good on a specific night and I'm not tired, then an A is possible - but I have to not be physically tired at all to do so - if I play TOML more than 3 or so times in a row, then it's an accomplishment just to pass.

Re: FFR's Top One Handers
You should make some files that are short and hard, then.

Re: FFR's Top One Handers
But then nobody would recognize them. Part of the effect garnered from posting scores is how well it's known, and unless it's in a pack at the very least, any effect put into it would likely be in vain.

My 500th FC
Ignoring my sucky PA and 6 boos, I'm actually surprised I made it past those 32nd bursts.

Re: FFR's Top One Handers
ha, I just had this really crazy idea.
I'm going to step every Sharpnel song out at the moment, then release them all in a pack. My guess is that it won't go over too well. I'm a pretty good stepper, nobody knows though, so that is a disadvantage. |

Re: FFR's Top One Handers
What songs would you count as "complex", because I really can't think of anything.

-No hand/quad support -Severe lack of stamina -Can't hit up-down jumps with 1 finger, issue is compounded by inability to hit 3+ keys at once Of course, I've still gotten really good anyways, so I could just put up with your problems as much as you can until you can fix them. Also, play Stepmania.

As for my idea. It doesn't need to be well attended. If someone wants to be ranked on the list we get them to play the songs. Or if they're already a one hander, we simply go look at their level ranks. Easy, and effective. As for being ****ty at a certain song. Too ****ing bad, get better at it. If you've got a mental block on a song, break it. :P

Re: FFR's Top One Handers
I can only hit two hands combinations;
left, down, right down, up, right pretty weird to hit some hands then have to roll the others. |
