TWG XLVI: For the King!
A gunshot, a scream, and a pane of glass breaking is all it took to change the kingdom forever. But it was not until late night that anyone was told what had happened.
"ATTENTION GUARDS," announced the King in the cafeteria, approximately five hours after the incident. "I would like to bring to everyone's attention the event of the early afternoon, on this dreadful day. I regret to announce that our jolly kingdom is now the home to a number of traitors. About five hours ago there was a gunshot, which I'm sure you all heard. The Queen has been shot and killed. Shot by a gun which was found in the next room, and killed by the fall out of the second story window. I'm uncertain if the shot was intended for me, but right now there's really not much time nor reason to investigate. You eighteen" He continues, as he points to a table across the hall, "are the only people capable of being guilty, as everyone else was out in the common area at the time. I leave it up to you to find out who the traitors are, and in the event that you cannot decide what needs to be done, you will all die. Ties and loyalty aside, this situation WILL cease, regardless of what actions need to be taken." At this, the 18 guards were given their nightly meal, and locked in an empty hall of the castle, each with a seperate room. (This castle is big, shove it) NOTES ON ITEMS:
Game setup is as follows: 2 Wolves 1 Brutal Wolf 2 Thieves 1 Seer 1 Guardian 2 Hunters 9 Humans For role-specific info, visit the sign-up thread here. Player list: 1. pntballa18 2. StoicRoivaS 3. PsYcHoZeRoSk8eR 4. DarkManticoreX2 5. FictionJunction 6. talisman 7. jwcgator 8. Kilgamayan 9. roundbox 10. thunderstrike687 11. x3Mamimi 12. Stella! 13. X3R0H0UR 14. sertman 15. Yesssss 16. JurseyRider734 17. xObserveRx 18. flawofhumanity Green PM: -------------------------- You've lived for a day like today all of your life in this kingdom, but this isn't quite what you had in mind. All of your life you've been honing your combat skills, and trying to lead a healthy active life, but this situation does not tailor to your skills. You must try your best to oust the traitors, in the name of the King! You are a HUMAN You have in your posession (upon waking up) A Lucky Charm. -------------------------- NOTE: This does not mean each green starts with a lucky charm, it's just how the format for possessing an item looks, so people can't use that for outside info either. It is now night one. Night will end at 11:59PM(midnight EST) on Thursday. I expect PMs from the wolves, any player that has a night action, any player that has an item they wish to attempt to use, and any player that wishes to pass an item. ps I'm VERY sure I missed at least something, be it PM info, common info, or whatever. I'll make changes when I remember, there's much going on right now. Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
so
seer comes out, guardian goes to him, we all tell seer what our **** is if we got it and seer does everything. Seer DOES NOT vote for any wolves he/she seers, to avoid a brutal. seer is wary of the effects that certain items might bestow (making apparent role opposite of real role or something), but takes this into consideration and uses this knowledge to their discretion. potential downsides: there's an item that lets the wolves instakill someone. |

Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
Calcification on some questions I am getting:
If you received no explanation of your item, you don't get one. Not getting an explanation does not mean that is it passive, and does not mean it's usable. If you do not wish to attempt to use an item, you do not need to PM me stating so. If you receive an item through a pass or steal, it may be USED, there is no way to tell. If you attempt to use a USED item, you will not receive a response. If you attempt to use a NON-USED item, but you do it incorrectly, or at the wrong time, you will not receive a response. If you attempt to use a USED item, in the correct way, at the correct time, you will not receive a response. If you use an item correctly, and it's a personal gain, you will see the results. If you use an item correctly, and it's a global effect, it will be stated on thread (or not stated) and could be the result of your item, or could be the result of someone else's item. You will not be told you used an item correctly, save for specific scenarios that will remain unknown. IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK ME. AIM OR PM WORKS FINE EDIT: OFFICIAL BGM FOR TWG XLVI: http://home.comcast.net/~discobobbyparanoia/TWGXLVI.mp3 Last edited by DiscoBobbyPARANOiA; 05-3-2007 at 12:05 AM.. |

Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
Guardian guards against ALL night actions, so it's a non issue. However, **** could be gayed due to items. I'd rather the seer wait until day 1 and work through a human, assuming he/she seers one.

The beginning of this story made me think of King Ralph.

Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
about working through a human: doable but not really. Guardian has to keep that human and seer alive then, or else the frontman just gets picked off. also there might be items that frame reds into greens, which might play into trust issues.

Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
Not necessarily, we only need the front man for one night, to discover all the items that are around, and if there are none that seem relatively dangerous to the seer while being guarded, we can *hope* that the wolves are lacking of those items as well, assuming barring lucky charms items are random.

Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
For the player list, you're missing the 8. That screwed me up bigtime when I was putting my aim list together.
Doesn't that also mean we need another player?

Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
Only potential problem is the possibility of said front man being a thief, which is a 1/8 chance.

Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
still need someone to report seered reds, so might as well cut through the crap and have the seer out up front. if the seer tries to report **** through another frontman it starts to become easy for the wolves to determine who the seer/guard are as they can just look at who isn't voting or is reluctant to vote right away for whoever was seered red.

Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
So how about an aim list for the people who haven't played TWG in awhile...(yours truly). There's some new people here who I have yet to play with, hence, no aim for them.

Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
Their aim is to win the game. That much hasn't changed since you've been gone.
