Re: The Speedrunning Thread
I tuned back in just in time to hear "only Lucca and Marle get the extra scene, so choose your waifu"
sounds like something you'd hear about a dating simulator game rofl

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
This run is actually pretty entertaining as far as JRPG's go. Not an overwhelming amount of cut-scenes to sit through and good insight on some mechanics that I never knew about.

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
Definitely a good run, just no way I'm going to be able to stay up for the rest of it >_<
I'm actually kinda hype to see what terrible games they bring out for the bonus stream. Usually there's a lot of very non-serious and highly amusing shenanigans in the bonus streams, they come highly recommended.

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
Quite fishy how the donation total somehow has been climbing about 10k every 10 minutes when some of the donations being read are only $5...either this is like a movie ending and they're going to break 1 million donation total as the real-time of the marathon ends or they've been sandbagging the donations which I highly doubt because of the tracker
Pretty dramatic finish to the marathon either way |

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
Glad I trooped it out and stayed up until the stream went offline (until bonus stream of course). Chilling in kottpower's channel now...biggest raid ever?

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
I shouldn't have, but I did stay up until the very end of the stream. Nuts they hit one million in donations.

I'm so glad I stayed up until 5AM for the finale and the marathon's "Million Dollar Moment".

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
I watched for a few days, and donated what little money I had to spare. I was seriously hoping for them to hit the one million mark, and I'm incredibly happy they did. These dudes did a really great thing.

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
Watching the broadcasts right now, about to punch something out of annoyance. Pretentious prick.
Edit: As a follow-up, he did declare he was going to AA. Seems like he might be sorting things out. Last edited by Crazyjayde; 01-13-2014 at 03:27 PM.. |

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
I'm sad and disappointed about all the CH drama. A lot of people have said before on his own stream he's a really cool guy, but he does get crazy when drunk even on stream. But I was honestly still shocked about his behavior on and offstream at agdq. Some people just can't handle their alcohol. Overall I think he's a good guy and I hope he sticks with what he says he'll do and prove that. No reason to drag out that drama but I thought I'd chime in.

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
In a nutshell:
Got drunk, was drunk during stream, touched someone inappropriately, talked down on many guests and runners, and finally got kicked out of the marathon (not sure if kicked out of the hotel as well). |

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
Apparently CH (controllerhead) has a serious drinking problem and is going to be going to AA.
