The release party marathon went on for a good 4 1/2 hours. Much fun was had, and there was an awesome amount of people (For the first hour or two at least).

Also, Alex dropped like 4 or 5 AAAA's during the course of his stay.

lol you really do miss the point. I'm going to try to illustrate this if it can help you.

Let's pretend bmah invented this:

It's meant to be used like this:

But, really, some people complain about it, saying it's terrible. How did they use it? Like this:

Not only their methods of tasting were dumb, they were also inappropriate. Bmah has every reason to be annoyed: those reviews are illegitimate.

Glad you liked my files Alex. I could have sworn I sent Magewind to you for testing years ago but guess not, I'm just glad people get to play it now.

Actually, I said that because I expect high-quality files from you: I actually like almost everything you step and that was a major let-down for me at the time I played it. I didn't know it was a mine file, it was more or less a misunderstanding. My bad.

there aren't many brave stepmen out there that experiment openly, so you have to at least give kudos to bmah for being one of those few brave souls

I experiment all the time myself and it's either hit or miss with people but I'm BRaVe enough to venture and explore further than the traditional STeP BouNDaRieS

lets take into consideration how you're reviewing experimental files with subtractive mods and a limiting playstyle

I didn't know it was an experimental file when I reviewed it. But since you've brought that to my attention, I'll be sure to play Vortex the way you intended it before reviewing. And my playstyle shouldn't really affect how I view a file, a good file is a good file regardless of how you play even if I can't destroy it.

The steps felt very methodical in places, but I believe that was necessary for the song. Overall I think you captured the feel of the song nicely.

I might do an in depth review tomorrow. From the handful of songs that I played, none have disappointed.

So far, my favorite files have been (in no particular order):
-BattleJam
-EXE
-My unfortunate erection
-Ryukotsuki
-Watch Out pt2
-House of Pleasure
-London
-Passage D

Btw, I'm liking the positive feedback from Come On so far. I'm glad you're enjoying it :]

Welp, seems EXE was a bit better received, half-expected that. :P Yes, my latest releases are modern-style resteps to older songs, it's my area of comfort; deal Though, I've got a good few WIPs of undone songs so I guess for Autumn I can grab those and/or collab with others on stuff.

And personally, I just don't see what everyone else likes so much about Kneegrow's old file, but eh, opinions etc.

Oh and alex ps 192nds for accenting the almost 'vocal-sounding' beats in the piano part~

... 0_o are you serious?

I used Ketchup as an analogy to simplify the situation going on between bmah and the reviewers who played his song the wrong way because you didn't seem to understand what was going on. If I were to compare your statement to something, it wouldn't be ketchup... it would be poop
