I need help playing pump it up
I tried PIU once at the arcade cuz they didn't have a ddr machine, and althogh I've been playing DDR for years and have mastered it, I totally failed at PIU, can anyone give me some techniques to help me if I go back there?

Re: I need help playing pump it up
Last post on May 3rd. It's the 16th - 15th depending on where you are but i'll post anyway.
Practice! Get used to it. I can't do DDR too well since I play PIU way more often. Some common patterns are... 7-5-9-5-7 Turn sideways and do it like you're running forward and back. 3-9-5-1-7 Turn to your side same way as 75957 pattern but spin around and face the other direction on the 5. (These are really fun in "Get Up" on hard) What difficulty are you on? These patters don't appear 'till like level seven-ish songs. Anyway... I couldn't help but bump this. :P |

Seriously. A lot of patters are easily accomplished by going sideways. Not to mention newbs think that it's really pro when you do it.

I tried it and failed too. I cant get my body to turn sideways and play as I would for DDR. Theres some kind of mental block. Also, the middle button is teh ghey.

I tried this game when I was 6 and thought it was a stupid copy of DDR. =p
I find DDR more fun. |
