Default Just got a brand new mouse for my computer

The razer Naga, pretty sure im in love with it. In case you didnt know it has 17 buttons which work great for mmos and rpgs, and the laser reads great making it good for fps as well.

im lookin for a nice keyboard as well, one that will work good with mmo, rpg, fps, and rhythm games as well. Any recommendations?

Naga, awesome.

Keyboard: Don't get one from Razer. My suggestion is the Logitech G15 Gen2.

DO NOT GET THE RAZER LYCOSA!

Get the Optimus Maximus Keyboard; it's only $1,600.

Sorry, but the mouse everyone is looking for is the Logitech MX518.

Perfect size and feel, the side buttons are positioned and shaped ideally, etc. It's far and away the best mouse I've ever used.

As for keyboards, stay away from the G15. I bought one to replace another keyboard of mine that broke (ended up costing me very little after the refund, so I thought "Why not?"). Perhaps it's just mine, but the buttons have odd sensitivity. They sometimes register as pressing twice rather than once, and most 3- or 4-button inputs are ignored. This includes ASKL all at once, which makes playing FFR/Stepmania particularly difficult.

Did Apple ever come out with that semi-touch screen mouse? It would pick up your finger's movements on it to do things like minimize and other stuff like that.

My mouse:

As far as a kb goes, this is the only thing out there that catches my eye. Logitech G19
I'll be getting it as soon as I have the cash for it unless I get blown away by something else. I'm not a logitech fanboy, I just happen to like these two peripherals. Has a display screen on it, backlit keys with every color spectrum, a bunch of macro keys and profiles to switch settings and a lot more.

Mechanical keyboard, I think it uses Cherry Blacks but I dunno. Get it, Steelseries always has good ****. Razers mice are always good too, though I always thought that the Naga was kinda silly.

Sure, if you're an FPS gamer to whom DPI actually matters (RTS is arguable). Anything that doesn't require twitch-pixel-perfect movement doesn't really care about what the mouse can do, so long as it feels correct and has the buttons you need, categories in which the MX518 is fantastic.

edit: Oh yeah, mechanical keyboards are amazing, wish I had one of my own.

Well, yeah. It has a great design, and it fits in your hand like oh my god orgasms but all of Logitechs worthwhile mice have that exact form like the Logitech G5 and G500 which are both laser mice for ten/twenty dollars more.

Both also excellent mice, yeah. If the price premium is worth it to you, go for it.
