You will actually face AWAY from the screen during those types of turns. Get used to them because they are fairly common in 8's and 9's. And, we need an update haha. I mean, you have so much time on your hands shash, why not let us know how you are doing? =D

The good news is that I have no more classes and therefore don't go to school anymore.

The bad news is that both SM and DDR were at school, and both got simultaneously cut off at the same time--the physics teacher set up a no-games policy, and the DDR machine was turned off because Brown graduated and apparently they close down the arcade for the summer.

So yeah...unless I find good computer for SM or another DDR machine, my progress in both games will come to a screeching halt until college

That's a huge blow Shash. Where do you live? of you tell me I could find out if there are any DDR locations near you at www.ddrfreak.com. Or you could do it yourself if that would save you time.

Apparently, there's one kinda nearby (as in, a few towns over) at a place called "Funway cafe".

Not sure if my parents would drive me though...

buy a computer so you can atleast play stepmania Shash.

EDIT:~:
doesn't even have to be a really expensive one to run stepmania. Might be better to save up money and get a good computer so that you can run games on it also. For example: Oblivion, Doom, Halflife. You're going to be missing out on a lot of things.

I have a computer that can play SM, but the timing window is slightly off and have utter garbage MA is just way too frustrating to be worth it.

I'll probably switch to making files instead.

Just buy one for you house...if you have a good place to put the pad, its just as good as any machine...and the song "A" is alot of fun...but kind of easy..its one of my all time favorites though..
If you play DDR Extreme again try the song called "V", its just as good as A.

if you can complete "A," u might as well start practicing some of the easy songs on heavy to get the feeling for 16th arrows. once u get that down, yer on the way to ddr greatness!!

well, keep it up!

Well for 1 you could just switch the judge difficulty from judge4 to judge6 because j6 on SM is ddr's timing I think.

And you can turn off Marvelous anyway.

Worthwhile 3 month bump because Brown started again and so I'm playing DDR again.

First day back...AA'd three songs in a row (ones I was always good at, Rhythm and Police Standard, Cartoon Heroes Standard, Holic Heavy) and actually got and Extra Stage for some reason (does that always happen when you get 3 AA's?). It gave me Legend of Max Heavy, which I obviously failed pretty much right away XD

My stamina blows though. On my 3rd pair of tokens, I accidentally played some song called AMP or something that wasn't very hard, then Afronova Primeval Challenge or whatever which I AA FC'd, and then Matsuri Japan where I FC'd up to the point where I failed for being way too tired to keep going.

Me needs stamina ><

I like PAing. I used to be like you with all the craaaazy songs.

But then I passed them all.

Then I discovered the wonders of PAing.

The end.

you passed them all? wow. try itg then.
as for pa'ing, eh maybe i'll get into that some day but it still would'nt eliminate the fact that songs people can get PA 's on usually sound like crap.
