For a long, long time this has got on my nerves for a bit..It's only a small thing yes, but quite annoying after a while.

FFR Profiles and Public Profiles.

A couple of things...

What is the point of Public Profiles? They are basically "FFR Profile 0.5"

And if it has to be there, then why is it if you mousewheel click peoples names to open the link in a new tab, that the crappy profile that noone uses come up?

Public Profiles are vBulletin's own profile system, they're a part of vB and can therefore be ignored as if they never even existed. In short, they're simply there alongside FFR's profiles to boggle your mind.

Although there are a couple cool things you can do with those profiles like groups.

But on the whole, yes, they're only there because they're part of the forums. They are public profiles because anyone can access it regardless of your FFR profile privacy settings. In general, don't put any information on that profile that you wouldn't want everyone to see.

Negative. There are still a few things that stand out in a FFR profile vs. forum profiles, such as what Chaz explained above, groups. If we were to incorporate the "Groups" feature into FFR profiles, well, that would be different then.

Also, I could see them disabling the forum comment wall sometime in the near future, it's really of no use since not very many people actually stick to forum profiles... FFR profiles are where it's at.

Other than that, we'll have to just wait and see what they do.
