Platinum Artist?

Soo, I'm planning on completing the Endless Setlist 2 on Rock Band 2 with my friend tonight. I have a question though: If I play on Expert drums and he plays on Hard guitar, will I still get the Platinum achievement for my drums?

On RB1 the answer is no... I haven't done it on RB2 so I don't know if they changed that or not so I can't say for sure, but on RB1 you got the achievement/emblem for the lowest difficulty.

Cool, thanks. That just saved me a lot of frustration, however, I would still like some verification on this.

No. To get a platinum symbol, all players in the band must be on Expert.
