Sig tut.
First, Grab some abstract brushes from deviantart.com
Then, grab a render. I'll be using this http://img100.exs.cx/img100/4778/dbz2110246jy.png P.S I am using CS2 for this but 7+ should be fine. Open up a new document 450x150 with a transparent BG. Press D to reset your colors and go to filter-render-clouds. Then switch you colors(X) so white is your foreground color. Then grap your brush and brush till you get something you like. this is what I got. Then layer-new adjustment level-curves. Make the input 166 and the out put 80. Then Drop your render right in the middle. Copy the render layer(Ctrl J) and filter-blur-motionblur. Angle:0 Distance:36 Now, copy that layer. Then merge the 2 motion blur layer's together and place the original render on top. Then merge them so there is on render. Now, got to layer-new adjustment layer-color balance. Use any color you like. Then, place the render on top. Next, Open a new layer and filter-render-clouds. Then, filter-noise-add noise. 400 guassian monochromatic Then, filter-blur-motionbur. 45 angle 14 distance Then set that layer to soft light. Now for the final step. Copy your render layer and filter-blur-guassianblur 3.0 pixels Then set that layer to over lay and youre set. Heres one with some finishing touches. My first tut so please dont flame. I'd love to see your outcomes. |

Nothing.

Re: Sig tut.
not a bad tut, but it seems overdone, the picture looks its best by the 4th picture, and once again, too many filters will more often than not, doom a picture, the backgrounds you create are completely awesome, like your current sig with tiffa, the picture itself is very well done, but the border around it and the font you chose for your name throw it off. You have to be aware of the linear and organic lines in your pictures, and try and choose a font that accents the picture, because just slapping text on something is never impressive, if you could bring all of these elements together (which i seriously know you can) you could probably do this professionally. overall good job so far ^_^

Re: Sig tut.
Yes, one single typo makes me lose all my credibility! Who cares if it's your first one? That's no excuse. I suggest you reach a level of skill where you can actually do something original and not get yelled at by me instead of using the excuse of "It's my first time".

No offense..but im gonna be honest with you..its bad.
Mono tone, the motion blur and noise makes the sig look so ugly.. and common man..are you still using downloaded brushes..

Re: Sig tut.
All of your sigs look retarded Verrtuckter. I wouldn't even be talking and yeah, masterchief12 your sigs are OK but eventually you'll have to pull yourself away from using downloaded brushes from deviantart and move on to doing your own thing.

MasterChief, the captain of Photoshop on FFR.
What's this mean though? "Then switch you colors(X) so white is your foreground color." Last edited by Lightknight924; 09-21-2006 at 06:35 PM.. |
