I would recommend one of the two: not stepping that sound at all to create a dramatic pause or to have it technically correct as 48ths but using rolls to make it easier to hit. I do agree though, now that I look at it, it would definitely cause a bit of a difficulty spike if stepped as 48ths. I will admit that what you did there felt fun and was somewhat PR'd as well regardless if it isn't rhythmically correct. I haven't looked at the other notes from the other judges for that particular file but I wouldn't mind if it stuck there since it's a very minor thing that irked me just a *tiny* bit. I just have a knack for checking rhythms at 0.5x rate oops

cool story, it's my biggest pet peeve of the file. I have talked with like 5 people about it and everyone recommends something new hahaha xD I'm debating either leaving it how it is, or removing it for dramatic pause... (if it was right before the break of a section, hell yeah i would do it but its kinda in the middle...)

Write all the solutions on paper and throw a dart. Whichever it is closest to is the solution you use

gogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogo

(I would laugh hysterically if you actually did this.)

Anyone who had a disparity in their scores that caused their file to potentially get rejected: sit tight for a bit, because your files may not necessarily be rejected yet.

It looks like the judgment timeframe for the January/February batch is going to be pretty quick -- it's looking like it's not even half of the size of the November/December batch.

Also, I'd like to officially announce that the batch is open for March and April -- go ahead and send in anything you have. I'll update the OP with the appropriate totals as well as files that were queue'd/resubmission approved; expect a batch image of the January/February files sometime today and be prepared to send any fixes for any of those files as soon as possible, because I am looking to start judgment of this batch on the 16th.

EDIT: less e-mails != less files; looks like slightly smaller than last batch at a glance, will have batch image posted soon

January/February batch:

Quite the small batch.

Anyone with a file in the batch: you have until 4/15/2014 - 10:59 PM SERVER TIME TO SEND ANY DESIRED FIXES FOR FILES IN THIS BATCH FOR JUDGMENT OF THE JANUARY/FEBRUARY BATCH

Thanks -- I deliberately skipped that because I was unsure if it was intended to be submitted a second time or not (o'er the flood happened to be in the same e-mail as that).

I'll add them both now.

EDIT: batch image updated.

SHIT, Gruntilda is a re-submission, but that's cool, I didn't send anything else. But still, oops.

Oh wait a...

I hope this one has some parts that are different than the one on DF. It's a fun file all around though.
