Notes: Mandarin had no use because of the fear of buying gold and silver as well as the uselessness of those two compared to death cart, or band of misfits depending on whether a player had four or give gold. Death cart op. Rly op.
EDIT: Crossroads was seriously underutilized imo. That card is disgustingly good.

our first tie! 23-23-22-9 is an insane final score. very tight game all throughout, everyone was bogged down by curses the entire game. The supply cards that ran out were duchy, vagrant and curses, lmao. Very, very slow game.

notes: processioning a foretress is absolutely disgusting and I don't ever want to see it again. Storn had 50 cards in his deck at the end of the game. inDheart has a screenshot of this. Armory is gross. This game was gross and made for storn.

For the record. i had 50 cards in my deck AFTER the turn, which was helped by playing 4 hagglers, and my entire deck was either in my hand, or in play at the end of the turn.

basically storn drew his entire deck to get 23 money and 4 buys which got him 2 provinces, essentially sealing the win in one turn

tbh I think he should've gained duchies from the haggler bonus at the end but I don't think it mattered

i think province-province-duchy-vagrant is the correct set of buys and then he can use the haggler bonuses to empty piles and end the game (you can't get duchies off the hagglers because they get you non-victory cards)

also cache did not get used at all in that game and storn was the only one to gain an embassy, but embassy does look like a fun card

Sunfan is bad and ended the game too soon. 12 victory points is a lot of victory points to get from monument through the course of a game and it gave Cold the win here. Buying duchies mid-game appeared to be a solid strat. Watchtower is really cool. Setup in a while where I think every single card was played at least once.

notes: Really, really cool setup. Smithy is deceptively strong, and I think that its basically a gold in the early game, and even more valuable in the late game. Caravan seems only good when you have several out at once. It is a shame that we were forced to play quickly or become irrelevant because I think this setup is really neat. Wayward was totally robbed as well.
