Default Street Fighter X Tekken

Anyone played it? I want to know your thoughts on the game and on the DLC (Disc Locked Content) on the 360 version. I think the gameplay is pretty smooth and the graphics are pretty good as well. With the DLC, I think Capcom is just being their usual money hungry selves.

The hate on this game is ridiculous for the stupidest reasons. The DLC thing has been known from Capcom for the LONGEST time from many of their games and yet NOW people are complaining about it =/ Watch after a few months people will forget about it and start playing it :V

That said, the game itself is known to be fun as hell. I don't have it though since it's not my cup of tea whatsoever (nor is the SFIV series). But if I'm given the chance to try it out I would. Still, let's hope they fix the ridiculous infinites they had.

Waiting for Tekken X Street Fighter to come out because Tekken > Street Fighter's fighting system.

I agree, I've always been a fan of Tekken over SF.

I just hope everyone doesn't pick Eddy and ends up being cheap with him

The game has been out since March 6th. I'm just a couple weeks late making this thread. I can't really compare the two fighting systems because I've never played an actual Tekken game only SF games.

I'm not a SF player by any means but doing combos and stuff on this game seems pretty legit except for balrog trial #15, that one gives me nightmares.

I really like this game in casual play. However, I watch a couple high level players through the teamsp00ky stream, and some of the techniques used bother me.

1) 3 frame jabs that are + frames on block. Jab fighter 4 redux. Ryu, Cammy, Poison etc.

2) high number of time outs - I guess this is just a product of the damage scaling in combos. Maybe I'm too used to seeing Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 combos.

I don't own a copy but I've tried it for both 360 and ps3, and the 360 controls seem really sticky in comparison for some reason. Also Lili/Ogre too OP.

There's also the fact that Marvel uses MARVEL seconds, where the time is actually longer than real-time.

Tekken x Street fighter is Namco's rendition of the game using Tekken's system. The one that came out was Street Fighter x Tekken, which uses the Street Fighter system a little more, since it was made by Capcom.

I haven't tried the 2013 version yet but I played the original on PC a lot. I ran Poison/Lili and I'm interested to see how the balance changes affect their gameplay :P
