Re: FLipSide FFR pad packs
I downloaded the pack today and tried some songs.
No way I can do anything over like 10. Oh well. x( What I've played so far is pretty good though. There's some awkward patterns in a few of the songs, but I guess I can overlook that.

Re: FLipSide FFR pad packs
HUEG POST TIME
-------- [n/a] Below the Surface audio quality wtf Destiny - fLiP There's already a good ITG file, I didn't feel like playing this. Divinity - fLiP Oh my god, this song is so boring. F - Wyde This song bores me, too. Secret Zombie Room - intensez I hate this song with a passion. Snowflakes - MML No oni chart. Sound of my Dream Remix - fLiP Boring song. Tribal Style - i love you There's already an ITG file. [1/5] Carrousel Parade - Timer Rabbit Absurd amounts of mines for no reason, a hand without notice (after getting up), and crossover 16ths at 180 bpm is NOT fun. This better have been a joke sim. Color of Giggles - Timer Rabbit What's even less fun than 180 bpm crossovers? 200bpm streams with crossovers and random steps that screw up footing. EternuS - Professor Raine WTF HAVE YOU MADE A PAD FILE BEFORE This looks like something I crapped out when I was a noob stepfiler. Hands are WAY too fast, the quad mine wipes are pointless, and the mines during the slow part are too close - you'll hit every single one on pad, I guarantee you. The GrooveStats version is superior in every way. Exciting Hyper Highspeed Star - i love you vs. fLiP The beginning and end are stepped so poorly and inaccurately it made me **** myself. No layering exists, you just broke it up into sections following different things. Had 0 flow, felt too broken up. For FFR - Novacaine Hahahahaha you're ****ing kidding, right? No way in hell anybody is going to pass this on pad without a Cmod. Leave this kind of stuff to keyboard files. Party 4U (Holy Nite Mix) - Timer Rabbit For the love of all that is good, DO NOT USE CTRL+R. Rottel-da-STATION - gnr61 vs. ~Zero~ don't do drugs kids Southern Cross - fLiP Stops went with nothing, runs were at inappropriate spots, parts that should be hard were understepped. [2/5] Beethoven Virus - i love you spins wtf Carol Megamix - fLiP Overdoubled, 24ths where there should be 16ths, 16ths where there should be 24ths CIA Rave - i love you Random crossovers that screw up footing, and what on earth were those 24ths going to? Gaussian Blur II - EnR Was good 'til the final run, when you decided to make the run constant turns at 221 BPM - even Calimist would struggle to do that without bracket raping. Sail Away - fLiP Pretty bland and repetitive. I was actually thinking about what I had for lunch while I was playing this The Dream of Scarlet - SulferDragon wtf hands with no notice V1 - SCWolf619 wtf the entire thing is a run [3/5] All of the World - intensez Most of the hands didn't need to be there, and some steps went to literally nothing. OK for a 9, though. Bomb the Base - fLiP Another decent pad file. Crying Soul - Grim5768 File assumes you reset footing too often. House Leaves - Professor Raine Meh J219 - SCWolf619 Meh Monstrous Turtles! - i love you vs. fLiP Rofl, that cut made me laugh. Could've used more holds. Thinking Different - i love you This song makes my brain melt. [4/5] Angel Stays on This Ground - fLiP A few double steps (spins to DDR players), but quality I would expect in an official ITG stepchart. Aztec Templing - EnR Fun file, but 16ths should've been 32nds - the simplified steps subtracted from it. Over the Rave - ~Zero~ Pretty fun. PARANOiA ~Darkness Mix~ - Wyde Pro. Good chart. Radius ~hacker no yabou~ - Ravia vs. fLiP Some parts didn't feel right, but overall a rather fun chart. Roller Coaster Ride - fLiP The jacks in the beginning didn't go to anything Silence (Airscape Mix) - fLiP Delicious, delicious stepfile and song. [5/5] Brightone - JX I love simple gimmick charts. Some parts were understepped, but really fun overall. Nothing less from JX Crow Song - SulferDragon Layered properly, difficult enough to be challenging, yet simple enough to be fun. Excellent. Dazzling Destiny - gnr61 Beautiful - I especially loved the subtle layering techniques. I'm definitely keeping this one on my USB. Sepia - imadethisfromboredom Only two pad errors in the entire thing, well stepped. Z - dore OH MY GOD THIS FILE HAS 0 FOOTING ERRORS ISN'T UNDER/OVERSTEPPED AND MAKES SENSE I LOVE YOU DORE(played this last, got pissed at all the poorly stepped patterns)

Timer Rabbit: Please don't make files again, Color of Giggles killed this pack.

Re: FLipSide FFR pad packs
That Z file Oni version from dore and Piano Etude from Xiao (ROFL at ONI xD I can see myself die trying that file.) are my favorite from this pack so far. That Rottel file is only fun on the keyboard though and omg, I wish Monstrous Turtles! did not cut off like that. =( That's all so far.

Ouch man, that's pretty harsh. Then again, I guess my comment on Raine's file was, too. @Flipsta - Monstrous Turtles should've been full, yeah. Felt incomplete. Z is one of the best files in the pack (in regards to pad), and my demon fire file on Oni is doable. You can pass it, I'm sure! ;D (Btw, was your CDtitle the ^.^ Flip one?)

Re: FLipSide FFR pad packs
Yeah, that's mine. ;D Life Light file and stuff. I could have done better with the beginning in that file, but ah well.
I'll hook up a pad one day, get my cam, and attempt to even scratch it. It's so intimidating, yet so feet pattern friendly (maybe those jacks as well xD).

Dazzling Destiny - gnr61
Beautiful - I especially loved the subtle layering techniques. I'm definitely keeping this one on my USB. <3 ps pretty much agree with those reviews, except i cant stand aztec at all since its noticeably offbeat lol. and wtf lw4 o.0 brb failing tomorrow at arcade xD oh yeah and life light...dude i wish i'd just gone ahead and submitted mine now

Re: FLipSide FFR pad packs
Yes, I was harsh, but man are there some bad files, I actually don't like Z or Piano Etude, they have crossovers and stuff xD.
The one I like the most is actually Rottel, I din't know that pattern I used at the end of GB2 was hard to do on pad haha. yet again, I am not a person that plays IGT/DDR so I don't know miuch bout pad files.

Re: FLipSide FFR pad packs
Why? So you can play a file with too much streams and hands? Haha. Send me yours and I'll compare it. No bias.

Re: FLipSide FFR pad packs
Didn't notice Aztec, I change the offset at the beginning of a song. Habit. I passed LW4 heavy on pad with 85, but I'm too scared to even try my own Oni file.
Also, Life Light wasn't bad, I think it was decent. I think I forgot to write a little note on it, though. [edit] Life Light was the only file I AAA'd, rofl

Re: FLipSide FFR pad packs
i think i didn't like life light cuz of how well i know the song and how i thought it should be stepped xD
but the very first thing (thats really obvious too) is the very first notes, how the are stepped to the precussion, then suddenly is stepped to that synth sound while the precussion is still going the same. idk ill send u my version if ur on aim flipsta
