Re: Yolomania Vol. 2 - Submissions Open!
Btw you can get rid of Clock Up, if you want to.
It's weird to say, but I don't think it's up to par compared to my two other files :P

Re: Yolomania Vol. 2 - Submissions Open!
i had 260 bpm 8th js in vol 1 so sure
yeah that was what i was thinking. syncing issues aside, the song is a bit slow paced and makes the file drag out. if it was a bit shorter it'd have more replay value. |

Some updates: Judging process is overhauled a bit. Having 3 different people post reviews seems excessive so we're gonna dumb it down, then if you want clarifications on some of the complaints we can provide them separately. Song list in first post updated. New preview vid from me too. Really happy with this file. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxrcmStwQyE Edit: Also took out preview video for This Is Not False Dancecore. I changed the second half of that file so significantly that the preview video wasn't really relevant anymore. Last edited by Wafles; 10-10-2013 at 04:00 PM.. |

Re: Yolomania Vol. 2 - Submissions Open!
Might step it for this pack as well. And maybe another Dangan Ronpa song as well...

Re: Yolomania Vol. 2 - Submissions Open!
Gonna try to get reviews for the 7 files we have submitted tonight. Probably wont be until fairly late tonight tho
Can tell you right now that Stomp To My Pigs will be rejected unless you can make it playable in SM5. Might have to ditch the warp gimmick things. Last edited by Wafles; 10-12-2013 at 06:16 PM.. |

Re: Yolomania Vol. 2 - Submissions Open!
Reviews. As a reminder this is the only review post for this batch of files. We're no longer splitting the reviews up into multiple posts to avoid confusion. If this post says accept your file is in.
(leo137) LOVELYTEKS ONI: Accepted BEG: Rejected Beginner is pretty horrible. Way too anchor heavy and overcharted in general. In my opinion if you wanted to make a harder chart for this song you should've just gone full handstream. Oni however, is really fun, and although it still has quite a few anchors, I felt that it helped add to the intensity of the song and it seemed to fit really well in my opinion. One thing: The "one, two, three, four" gimmick you have in beginner is kind of cool (in the beginning of the file). You should consider putting this in the oni as well, but it only happens once so its pretty minor. (MrTea) Point Blank Accepted Fast breakcore holy shit. Pretty old school sounding and I kind of like the song actually. Chart seems pretty fun but near 300 bpm 24th bursts are really really hard for me. Can't really think of any major complaints for this file, its solid and short, I quite like it. (MrTea) Scream Hard as You Can Accepted Probably the best file you sent in my opinion. Its a shame that its borderline too easy and a little long so people might not want to replay it much, but I really like it. Song is pretty horrible but I've definitely enjoyed simfiles for much worse music than this. The only concerns we had with this file were stylistic and subjective, objectively there really isn't anything wrong with it at all. Keep in mind we wont accept anything easier than this. This is kind of along the same lines as Forbidden Tracks. Easy and fun to MA. (MrTea) Seventh Gate to Hell Conditional Song is cool, steps are mostly cool. I'm gonna ask that you clean up the bursts a little bit and cut the pointless ending out. For bursts this fast I think you need to be really careful that they stay playable, and I think the transitions out of the bursts are often extremely difficult the way you have it charted. (MrTea) Stomp to My Pigs Rejected Broken song. Fix this shit and resubmit for a real review. (MrTea) YAY Rejected Song sucks total ass so I'm rejecting on that alone. Steps are really iffy too, mostly because it goes from super easy to HOLY FUCK 260 STREAMS OUT OF NOWHERE. Put dis shit in cringefest rofl. Note: Other people thought the steps were fine but agreed that the song choice meant it wouldn't really offer a lot of replay value. (Wiosna) We Fucking Hate You Accepted Ok holy fuck this file is hard lol. I couldn't really play it so I kind of relied on Skwid and Sheep to try and get their way through it. My only concern that I could think of is that the hands are a little overkill, but given the context and difficulty of the file they're okay. Beyond this, this file is an absolutely insane stamina and speed challenge and I think a lot of people are going to enjoy trying to get a good score on this file. |

Re: Yolomania Vol. 2 - Submissions Open!
Paradiso got accepted to NB5 after I sent it there a month ago. Is this a problem?

Re: Yolomania Vol. 2 - Submissions Open!
Not a problem. NB5 should be popular enough that it doesn't need to be released twice though. I'll yoink it from the song list when I get around to updating the original post.
