Anyway, I completely disagree with the part about sending a PM to three random people. What would you accomplish by doing that? If I were a wolf receiving that PM, I would do my best to keep him alive and make him seer retarded people while searching for the Psychic. And if I suspected he was going off track for a second, I could just wolf him. How would he know if he'd hit a wolf or not at that point unless he wasted a seer on all three? That would defeat the purpose entirely. As for the rewards, there really aren't any. Like I said, you'd have no idea if you'd hit a wolf or a human. Just because you didn't die doesn't mean you hit humans. So, you're new "alliance" would be based on pure ****. Seer, just stick to your one seering a night and build your alliance. Then, use your seered greens to let the thread know of any wolves you seered OR to make contact with the Psychic. So much more can help us if we do it this way, got it seer? |

Re: TWG XCII: Welcome Back, Wolfy!
It's not really a way to try and make an alliance, it's to try and get the information of a seered wolf out to the thread without having to completely reveal your name to everyone. And while the seer wouldn't know if they hit a wolf or not, if they turned up dead, the people with the PM would at least have a smaller list of 'who to look at' at that point. Overall, the seer's choice of who to seer should only come from him or the people he's already seered. =P
Rewards would obviously be a dead wolf and a potential secondary wolf find. In a game with three wolves, it's a pretty good risk to attempt in my mind. XD But yeah, the last paragraph is the most likely best plan. =P I more put the other one there to counteract Iggy's idea of having the seer come out as a seered green. x_x |

I've never liked sacrificing an alliance member for a chance to make the alliance better. Your objective should be to use every available resource to win the game, not build yourself up. The seer doesn't need a psychic to win this game, he can do it almost objectively by himself, without a fear of needing to know how many wolves are left. Also to clarify, I did not explain why a seer would come out as a seered green. He would only do this if he wanted to reveal a wolf to the thread and the rest of his seered greens were already dead because they were killed after they got seered. (A good alliance leader doesn't let this happen XD. He takes care of his subjects ). |

Re: TWG XCII: Welcome Back, Wolfy!
I'm not backing down on my n1 inactive theory.
The ones who we know didn't post at all on the forums during n1 are iggy, u84, tupa, and of course freeze. It's likely that all these people didn't log in to see their pm's until after n1. Other than freeze, I think all of these dudes should be investigated pretty thoroughly. I just can't shake the feeling that Iggy is acting very strange. His normal play habits usually involve making an intricate n1 strategy post. This game, no such post was made until d1 came... after the deadline for a wolfing pm... which nobody sent... According to Temote, who I really trust because he is an experienced player who was active n1, Iggy likes to heavily consider different people's styles of play. Again, according to Temote, the last time BDN was this active was when he was a blue. Of course, we have no reason to count on BDN being a blue, but the fact that Temote remembered it makes it much more likely that Iggy remembered it too and offed him. On top of all that, it seems to me like Iggy's trying way too hard to "develop a strategy" and twisting anyone else's ideas beyond recognition so his rebuttal makes almost no sense. Example: in his last post he somehow believes that u84's primary goal was to find the psychic when it clearly wasn't. You want a strategy that works? Here's one: Do the exact same **** we've always done in games without guardians for the last ten-thousand years >_<. Seer forms an underground alliance, and with enough luck, we might stumble upon a blue or a wolf. That's it! Pretty smart, huh? |

nobody fiffers anymore.

Re: TWG XCII: Welcome Back, Wolfy!
Hey! I'm automatically a ****ing blue just because I'm active right?
Or maybe, just ****ing maybe, I'm just somebody who actually wants to play the game like it's meant to be played, but is never afforded that opportunity because of wolves who are so used to people playing like **** that anybody who actually bothers to take up their responsibility in a game is an immeasurable threat. I hope that wolves lose their ****ing asses, but knowing most of our playerbase, that likely won't happen. But hey, no skin off my back, I guess. Have your ****ty game.

Re: TWG XCII: Welcome Back, Wolfy!
BDN is mad. Uhm... Safety on panda for now. I don't think there's enough in that convo for me to believe it's legit. Anyone could fake that easily... Also to address AC, this has been an overall inactive game for everyong including myself. Didn't we already come to the conclusion that it was a weaksauce argument?

Re: TWG XCII: Welcome Back, Wolfy!
it hasn't been too inactive, plenty of people have been talking on AIM. don't take a lack of posts on the thread to mean general inactivity (and vicc get on AIM more! )
also, @ac, if you look back at temote's posts, you'll see that he mentions talking to me night 1, meaning I was at a computer and, while I didn't go on the thread, did check my PM. seriously, if I were actually a wolf why would I waste a game by being inactive? =P |
