You're playing poker with a tiger, a rhinoceros, a chinchilla, a spider, and a lizard. You're holding Kd Qd and the flop is 2h 5c 8s. The tiger looks somewhat disapprovingly at the cards on the table, audibly grunts, and bets 4.5x the minimum after some hesitation. The rhinoceros immediately folds. The chinchilla is eating something, but you can't tell what it's eating; then it finishes eating whatever it's eating, and looks for something else to eat, but can't find anything, so it starts chewing on its cards. A little while later it calls without paying much attention. The spider and lizard already folded preflop. Do you fold, call, raise, or run screaming?
What's the point of life if we're all going to die anyway? You have a lawn that's divided in half down the middle, and one of the halves has been spray painted green in such a way that you can't tell which half it is just by sight. What's the fastest way to determine which half has been painted? What's the longest period of time for which you have lasted without eating or drinking anything except for water?
