Now I can watch the series in reverse. Actually, I might do that now.

Re: Breaking Bad
Just finished the series. It could have ended at S5 E14 in my opinion, but I'm not mad or anything how it ended.
At least they didn't wake up in heaven and the plane crash really killed everyone.

Re: Breaking Bad
But the question is, does it change anything even if we knew? It's not like he would be stuck there forever.

Re: Breaking Bad
I kind of liked Todd. His sociopathic attraction to Lydia was kind of cute.

Re: Breaking Bad
Just finished this after burning through the entire series in like a month
So many incredible moments. Ozymandias is of course, and very appropriately, the greatest one ever. But it remained amazing until the end. I remember watching the very last shot of S04, with the song and the closeup to the lily, and just dropping my jaw. The word "pantheon" has been thrown around a lot wrt BB, and the series lives up to the depths of that word's connotations. edit: would've liked more flashbacks though, I thought the ones that they used were really classy

Re: Breaking Bad
I liked the scene in Felina when Jesse was daydreaming about making the wooden box.
Even though I know it was just a idealized daydream of a past memory, part of me likes to believe (unofficially) that it's actually a flashforward. |

I saw that too, but I figured that it was still worth mentioning regardless.

technically brba isn't over because of this, but its supposedly a prequel - that being said, jesse and walt will probably have cameos or even a prominent role. i think the ending of the main show should stay as is. |

Re: Breaking Bad
I doubt Walter and Jesse could possibly have any roles in Saul Goodmans spinoff if it is long before they ever met him.
If they ever made a Breaking Bad movie it would probably be during some event that takes place somewhere in the middle of the series chronologically. I don't believe they would make it after the end of the story and pretend Walter didn't actually die. |

Re: Breaking Bad
I think Cranston was just humoring the interviewers / responding tongue-in-cheek.
Both Cranston and the writers have, in the past, said that it was important to end the story at the right time, and that Walter was definitely dead. "I think Vince Gilligan, the creator of the show, didn't have to dilute any of the storylines by going too long. You never want to see a show get the reaction like 'Breaking Bad, is that still on the air?' You want people to say 'I miss that show.'" |
