On topic though:

I think sex is made into a bigger deal than it needs to be. I don't "applaud" people for "waiting until marriage" -- there's really no reason for that unless you only want to share yourself with someone you love. I applaud people who are empathetic and figure out how to hold themselves to their own standards (i.e. not hooking up with someone when they clearly want a relationship, etc). In other words, being respectful of each other's sexual values.

Marriage itself (religiously speaking) is a crock to me, but I think it has its merits as a symbolic gesture of joining lives, in which case I can understand the need to wait to have sex for some.

But, personally, I don't need to be in love with someone to have sex. I've had a few flings and they were fun -- but to be fair, they're ultimately nothing compared to having sex with someone you care about.

Sex is pretty integral in a relationship for me. If the sex is bad or nonexistent, then it won't work out. That is not to say sex is integral for everyone. If two people want to wait, then they'll be more compatible together. The key is to find someone with similar core beliefs. The problems occur when there's a difference -- say if one person is a FWB but the other wants something more, or if someone wants to wait until marriage and the other does not, or if someone wants sex at a certain frequency and the other does not. As long as everyone involved is on the same page, it's all good.

tl;dr my view is pretty much the same as darkshark's.

Who said anything about shooting? The mention was of rhythm games which in turn has its benefits. Like ITG if someone is good at it and has good stamina they have good stamina in bed. And I'm sorry but I have no complaints about fast fingers either. XD
