Can someone tell me what the words honesty and hope mean to them?
It's for my English class. I need what it means to someone else, how it has helped them be a better person, or how it has affected their life.

"Hope is believing what is honest."
Honesty is what happens fairly. May it be the act of another person, or mother nature. Let's say... ex: I hope it rains tomorrow. Now, it's been freaking dry for months. You and everyone else deserves some damn rain. But now... ex: I hope I get an A on my math test. Now, you didn't study at all. You don't know enough algorithms to even get you past the first 5 questions. Do you 'honestly' believe you deserve that A? No. Hoping for the unbelievable truth is not hope; it becomes a wish. |
