Re: FFR Community Pack 3
I might start working on a chart tomorrow for this. I really would like to get my name out into an FFR Community Pack - the second one was awesome.

Working on Beautiful Arrhythmia by SessileNomad. Tried stepping this before for DF but not having freezes REALLY made it difficult. We'll see how it goes - gonna try experimenting with difficulty in relation to musical climaxing.

Re: FFR Community Pack 3
lol
I might go around a few DNB songs, I just happen to like SessileNomad a lot. Beautiful Arrhythmia's introduction is giving me the most trouble, but the actual break sections (which is pretty much from 30 seconds and on) I have a fairly good idea of what I'm doing. I'm also thinking of stepping War, from the Avatar movie. The problem? 9 minutes isn't exactly the most appealing length for people to play. Not exactly sure if I want to cut it down a bit because there are places to easily trim down for the lack of activity, but I just don't feel right trimming down such an impressive piece of work. |

You can go for it if you'd like, then if I finish, maybe we can compare and fix :collabmanias:

I'm thinking about stepping World Tour 2004 but i don't know if stepping a long file would be a good idea xd

Re: FFR Community Pack 3
Long files are awesome ONLY if they present enough for the player to want to play the entire thing all over again. On FFR, World Tour wasn't exactly the most appealing song to play because of its length, but there were very few people who complained about the file quality, because it has many different things.
Another problem with me stepping War - it seems like it would be either a lot of triple/quad smashing with all of the accenting, or it would just have a really low step density. I'll keep looking though. EDIT: it seems like there are some snare rolls WAY into the background near the end where I thought it would be fairly quite, and timpani rolls help out a bit. Seems like a huge task to do before FFRCP has enough files...we'll see. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 10-11-2010 at 09:22 PM.. |

P.S. If I have the time and motivation I'll finish a WIP or two for this.
